Police said in a news release Saturday afternoon that their ongoing investigation has led them to Golden Ponds Park. They told 9NEWS it was not a tip that led them there, but procedure.

"Longmont PD, Longmont Fire and Longmont Emergency were all on scene. Dive teams were in the water and search dogs are combing the park, police said."

"Police say Gutierrez-Garcia and her friends spent some time Saturday night at the Speakeasy, 301 Main St., then finished their night at Breaker's Grill, 380 Main St., before walking back to the parking lot behind 3's Bar.

"Longmont police continue to investigate the disappearance, and this morning said they believe at least seven to eight people may have seen Gutierrez-Garcia in the parking lot area behind 3's on the morning she vanished. Detectives are hoping those people will make contact with police."

I'll look around again. She has no FB that I can find...I'm not sure how to find her SC, and any stories would be offline by now, otherwise I would probably reach out to my friends, as I know they have seen her around previously (they are big partiers, we don't hang out because I am not lol). She has an ex-husband...but I'm not sure if he is in Mexico or CO currently.

"During a news conference Wednesday, Satur said Gutierrez-Garcia was on the phone with an unknown person and told her friends, who she'd driven to the area with, that she'd get a ride home from someone else.

Satur said the police department is "exploring all the avenues that we can" but said they needed witnesses to come forward.

Gutierrez-Garcia’s mom arrived at her daughter’s home on Sunday to take her grandsons, ages 9, 13 and 18, to church, which is when they learned she was missing, police told FOX31."

And yeah, you are correct about the guy last year found dead in the lake, I believe COD on that was accidental drowning in combo with drugs. I think it was almost exactly around this same time of year also...I don't think they are connected in any way though.

"Rita was wearing a black long-sleeved shirt with black leggings. Rita has three children and has not had contact with her family since she went missing. Rita is 34 years old, 5'7" height, 140 lbs, brown hair, brown eyes.

The Longmont Police Department and her family are concerned for Rita’s safety and welfare and are asking for the public’s help in locating Rita.
