When Jennifer served him with divorce papers on June 20, 2017, Fotis was ordered to “maintain existing” family medical coverage.

But by November of that year, Jennifer complained in a court filing that the family’s health insurance lapsed “due to defendant’s [Fotis’] failure to pay” and that she was “unable to take the children to certain medical appointments” — to which Fotis allegedly replied she should “pay out of pocket.”

Divorce litigaiton and custody:
In March 2018, the court denied FD access to the children, saying there was “an immediate and present risk of psychological harm to the children if they have unrestricted and unsupervised contact with the defendant, as well as a risk of physical danger.”
The court also said he had a history of lying under oath and had encouraged the children to lie on his behalf.
However, the court reversed its decision and found it in the children’s best interest to implement supervised parenting time.
After the court granted FD supervised visitation this February, he and JD could not reach an agreement on a schedule. In March, Judge Donna Heller granted FD supervised visitation every other weekend, starting March 30. He was allotted seven hours on Saturdays in Fairfield County and six hours on Sundays in Hartford County, which could take place at the Farmington house. FD was also granted three hours of visitation on Wednesdays in Fairfield County.

CCTV footage in Hartford shows FD and MT on Albany St this very evening (5/24) and their phones ping (arrest warrant)

FD turns in phone together with his attorney to NC police. According to a tweet, he is followed at some point up until the arrest

May 29 - FD attempts to see children at NYC apartment but is turned away- much speculation about security and "armed guard"

A hearing had been scheduled for Wednesday morning regarding the "safety of the children," who are between the ages 8 and 13, following a motion filed by a court-appointed guardian, theConnecticut Post reported.

May 31 - LE in Hartford attempting to retrieve garbage bags dumped by FD and MT (CCTV shows them dumping 30 bags/30 stops along a 4 mile stretch of Albany ave and cell phone pings (both) match this route. Altered license plates are recovered that were stuffed down a storm drain. Plates were from a vehicle previously owned by FD all on 5/24)

FD provided DNA and hair samples, Troop L barracks in Litchfield a source told the Hartford Courant.

FD and MT charged with tampering with or fabricating physical evidence and hindering prosecution
clothes and sponges with JDs' blood were found in trash cans in Hartford, where the documents said surveillance cameras captured a man appearing to be FD disposing of garbage bags in multiple receptacles, according to the documents. A woman in the passenger seat of the man's car fit the appearance of MT, according to the documents.

6/19/17: JD takes kids away from Jefferson Crossing and moves to rental in NC. FD calls 911 and reports her and kids missing. He says he thought JD was going to NY to visit father’s gravesite. Note: 911 recording is on YouTube. IMO it’s a priceless window into FD personality, behavior, and thought processes.

6/20/17: JD files for divorce. “Because she said she feared for her life or that he would move their children to Greece.”

Also, he left them on to do whatever he did with her body and changed them back when he got back to JC at 1:37. He took them off and put the trucks own plates back on and put the plates in the UPS box and took them up to Htfd. and discarded them in the sewer.

So you are saying the fake plates were put on the Red Tacoma the morning of Friday, May 24 when the murder was committed, then removed before the Red Tacoma was returned to the employee about 1300.

Then the Black Raptor was driven during the stupid odyssey of the garbage dump run but was NOT on that vehicle, but was on the same stupid odyssey of the garbage dump run was then discarded into the
storm drain.

So much overthinking the morning's crime activities. Such underthinking the garbage odyssey. Surely he has other such oversights in this. You can almost feel the mania he had about killing her

Actually I saw photos of the altered plate several threads ago.

It was about as bad a job as this photo (DIFFERENT PLATE, DIFFERENT STATE): https://www.gannett-cdn.com/presto/...te.JPG?width=540&height=&fit=bounds&auto=webp

The way it was altered was not consistent with the CT license plate numbering system, so if a CHP vehicle had seen it (someone who scans licenses all the time) it would have immediately been picked up.

So maybe the Red Toyota was not really driven all that far.......Hmm

He had about 3-4 hours tops to commit the murder, do the clean up at JD's home, remove the body, and dump it somewhere.

I think she is very close. Not a 90 minute drive away

The license plates were in a Fedex packaging. Throwing them in the garbage would increase the risk of them being found later. If the attack was premeditated, the plates were probably not his weapon of choice, but a cover.

Yes, I was asking about Fulos’ white Toyota Tundra. I have heard nor seen any mention of this vehicle except for on tax bills.

Interesting that the tape and adhesive weren't removed from the plates before they were thrown in the drain. Another mistake. JMO.

Ok! So instead of summarizing the June 1, 2019 Arrest Warrant I am turning it into an FAQ because that might be more helpful. The Arrest Warrant is going to be my Bible for most information related to timeline etc until LE makes a statement or the Prosecution files more charges and gives more information. Nothing Pattis says changes the below information and he will not muddy my understanding of the timeline and FD/MT involvement.

1. When, why, and how did New Canaan Police become involved in JD’s disappearance and enter JDs residence?
—Multiple friends reported JD missing to NCPD at 7:00 pm on 5/24/19.
After arriving at 69 Welles Ave in NC and failing to arouse anyone to answer the door at the “behest” of JD’s family, NCPD entered JD’s residence after being provided access from JD nanny. (We don’t know if this access was provided in person or over the phone).

2. What did NCPD see when the gained entry? What was NCPD next course of action?
—-Multiple blood stains on garage floor and on a vehicle in the garage that had appearance to blood spatter
—-NCPD contacts Connecticut State Police Western District Major Crime Squad (WDMCS) and other federal and local agencies get involved. (Unless otherwise specified LittleBitty will now refer to authorities as LE since many agencies now become involved).

3. What did MDMCS do and what did the find?
—-Under the Mincey Search Warrant they processed the scene at JD house and found multiple stains with human blood, suspected blood spatter and evidence of a cleanup.
—-LE comes to consensus that serious physical assault occurred and JD was the victim.

4. Is LE aware that there are multiple vehicles registered to the Fore Group, LLC?
—yes they queried them and mentioned it in Arrest Warrant
—-FD owns a 2014 Black Ford 150 SVT Raptor

5. Why and When was FD phone taken? What about MT phone? What was learned from MT and FD phones?
—-on 6/25/19 at 2:47 pm
—-FD provides his iPhone X and it was seized by Detective Allegro under the suspicion it could provide evidence of A crime or JD whereabouts (Web Sleuth Legal Eagles should we be worried about this seizure?)
—-LE gets Search and Seizure Warrant to do forensic download on FD phone.
—-Additional Search Warrant for detail phone records of MT cell phone.

8. What was in the trashbags seen being dumped by a male consistent with FD appearance on C4 video? What was done with the trash bag items? Where were they recovered? When? How many bags were recovered? How many bags were dumped?
—Clothes, household items like a kitchen sponge and other items that appeared to be stained with blood.
—-LE takes items recovered from trashbin a corresponding to dump locations on C4 video and having appearance consistent with trashbags seen being dumped by a male matching FD appearance to Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection Forensic Laboratory (DESPP) on June 1, 2019.
—-DESPP Lab tests items and they are found to contain Jennifer Dulos’s blood on June 1,2019.
—-we don’t know how many trashbags there were in all dumped by FD. It is not said in Arrest Warrant.

—-LE went to the site of storm drain (corner of Albany Ave and Garden Street) and Metropolitan District Crew removes grate and LE recovers the Fed Ex mailer box

10. once FD and MT phones had completed the journey along a four mile stretch of Albany Avenue where did their phones go?
—at 7:41 pm FD and MT phones leave Hartford.
—8:10 pm Raptor seen on C4 video in Hartford is seen entering and stopping at mouth of driveway at 4 Jefferson Crossing. Male matching description of male on C4 video exits Raptor and removes mail from mail box. Male renters Raptor and drives down driveway towards home and out of the view of camera. This is recorded by two adjacent neighbors surveillance video.

I believe the prosecutor also confirmed it in court, Although he claimed according to multiple witnesses FD was never inside the house.

And that according to witnesses he would not be going inside so as not to leave any possible DNA.

In the SW, LE state that Jennifer’s vehicle is a 2017 Chevrolet Suburban and then a couple pages later, they say it was a 2007 Chevrolet Suburban registered to Fotis.

Search warrant also says that on the 24th, Fotis leaves his home at 13:37 hours and travels to Farmington arriving around 15:38 hours. They state that was over four hours. That is only two hours.

When I see typos like that, I wonder how they can get an arrest warrant?
Don’t get me wrong, I believe he killed her. But their records are wrong or typed wrong and I don’t see how that stands up in court.

Does this bother anyone else? I haven’t read an arrest warrant before. Maybe this is common?

I knew I had seen the plates! Been trying to find it . Thought I was dreaming!
 
First post- thank you all for your hard work, fact checking and maintaining dignity of victims & families.
Questions that keep arising for me-
1. IIRC early on- MT reported losing cell phone. Do we know if physical phone been recovered by LE or just cell phone records? MOO-incriminating and easy excuse.
2. Also curious if anything was reported stolen from JDs home. Would imagine FD’s resentment and rage particularly around finances.
3. Does anyone wonder if attack happened while housekeeper was present? Or housekeeper arriving? In a large home, far off, music on? Would be curious which doors were primary entrances for family, housekeeper, nanny etc.
