GA - Rapper Young + others indicted on RICO & other charges, May 2022. Trial ongoing April 2023, interruptions, lawyer arrested. Fulton County.

The witness argues with Ms. Love about the premises of her questions. For example "Did you tell the police that & DK later called you and apologized for doing what they did?" "You said they took my phone how would they call me?" "You ever have more than one phone?"

“No”

That's it for the state. Keith Adams goes up for cross examination. He starts by asking about the circumstances of her arrest for failure to appear / dodging the subpoena.

Before an objection, the state asked a #YSL witness about the relationship between her child's father and rapper #YoungThug in 2013. During questioning, the witness was asked if she was afraid of the rapper. "No," she said. The woman reportedly claimed the alleged YSL leader robbed her.

A witness, who did not want to testify in the #YSL case, started to get emotional when she finally did take the stand. When asked about her deceased mother, she said, “I know you did it on purpose.” #YoungThug is on trial for a slew of RICO charges.

In a quick intermission outside the presence of the jury, Judge Glanville talks to the witness and says he doesn't want her to remain in jail, but she will need to come back tomorrow. He said if she agrees to stay in a hotel under state supervision, but come back tomorrow, he'll sign an order to release her. She agrees. Ms. Bennett is excused for today.

Miss Bennett is still on the stand today under cross-examination. Judge Glanville allowed her to be put up in a hotel last night instead of jail. After she finishes today, Detective Quinn will continue his testimony.

#YoungThug day 51. FYI: We count days from opening statements and each day is counted that the judge takes the bench and calls the case.

's attorney Keith Adams on cross-exam of Miss Bennett. He is focusing on the state asking her yesterday if she was afraid of #YoungThug (she said no) asking if who she is really afraid of is the state and specifically investigator Hamilton. Bennett says Hamilton had sexually harassed her.

Bennett testifies in February, investigator Hamilton wanted to meet her at a restaurant. Because she hadn't felt comfortable with previous interactions, she brought her 20-yr-old son with her.

Bennett testifies that investigator Hamilton told her he'd like to take her out when this is all over. Hamilton is an investigator with the D.A.'s office.

Bennett testifies no one from the D.A'.s office ever approached her about this 2013 incident until last year. She told them there was no robbery in May of 2013. She denies this robbery ever existed.

Lunch break. Audio was cut, did not hear return time.

A witness, who was being uncooperative in testifying for the YSL case, explained more of why she did not want to appear in a Georgia courtroom Friday. The woman alleged that she felt like an investigator within the district attorney's office was sexually harassing her. On Thursday, the woman said she was not afraid of #YoungThug, the rapper who is alleged to be the leader of the YSL gang and facing RICO charges.

SLEEPING: Defendant Shannon Stillwell pointing out to the standing deputy that the deputy in the chair appears to be asleep.

Judge Glanville sustains Adams' objection. Schardt objects to the same thing and judge overrules. Watch Schardt's reaction:

Miss Bennett is now the second witness to claim they don't know if "snitching" or being labeled a "snitch" is bad. Um.....ok.

Lt. Hamilton (investigator with D.A.'s office) addressed Bennett as "Mama" in several texts. She's what the state says is a victim of a crime that he is investigating for the D.A.'s office.

"Good morning mama. I hope you slept well. Again, don't come at 1:30. I have a feeling the defense will keep this same witness from yesterday all day again today.." Lt. Hamilton keeping Miss Bennett updated on when they expect her to testify.

Brian Steel now up with an argument. He says prosecutor Love has become an "unsworn witness" in this case. He says Love has asserted her personal knowledge into the testimony of Miss Bennett and forces the jury to determine if the witness is telling the truth or if the prosecutor is telling the truth.
