What I think I see is a bicycle leaning against the left corner of the pillar. Handlebars are touching the corner of the pillar. Sun hitting the back wheel rim. Bicycle is facing us. JMO

I see that is very possible. If it is true would give one way of escape, on a bike. However, a way to prove is test this with another photo of the same location and see if its there or not, a test sort of.

Delphi is eastern, along with most of Indiana. Orange on map is EST, yellow is CST.

Yeah it would be interesting to see this area in another photo. I totally get what others are seeing. Same goes for the hand but I think that particular pic is just the shirt. I remember quite awhile ago when I was manipulating that pic I saw it and it freaked me out. At the time I thought "is that his hand with a tool in it" but the other "thing" never crossed my mind.
