@FrostedGlass - so from what I understand - she bonded out on 3/8? Is that what this means?

Thanks! :)

After all this time, I can't believe that TB is out!

It looks like she finished her time for the robbery (Pulaski County - General Release) and posted a cash bond for Newton County.

April 5 will be here before we know it -- anxious to learn about her disposition.

I dunno how long this will last for Mathis. Actually, either of them.

If I remember correctly, Mathis completed his "time served" punishment of 492+ days of incarceration for this case, and was soon back on the controlled substance charges -- Sept 2020, I think.

It's a revolving door for this group

I'll give Mathis a month....

Now that 3 of them are loose, I'll start searching records by name instead of case number.

@FrostedGlass - just going thru my January list - and wondering - just maybe there might be an update on Garth's case?

TIA! :)

Nothing new. It seems like they would be doing something with her case. Lori James is listed as her attorney and she was notified on 1/30/21 that a May jury trial date had been set. That was the last action that's been taken.

I was curious as to where Kirts ended up. According to the Indiana DOC site, he's in the Pendleton Treatment Unit. I think that may be the relatively new (2016) mental health unit.

ACLU of Indiana, Indiana Protection & Advocacy Services Announce Settlement with Department of Correction
Thanks for this find @FrostedGlass. I wonder which definition Kirts entered the facility under...

The agreement uses a definition of severe mental illness that includes people who entered solitary with less than severe mental illnesses but whose mental health has deteriorated due to solitary. And, the agreement provides for “minimum adequate treatment” for these prisoners, which includes:

  • An individualized treatment plan created by a team consisting of mental health professionals and correctional staff who are familiar with the prisoner, reviewed at least every 90 days
  • 10 hours each week of therapeutic programming, which includes individual and group therapy
  • Recreation and showers
  • Additional therapy and out-of-cell time where possible and appropriate
The agreement also stipulates that prisoners in restrictive housing will receive frequent monitoring of their mental health status and needs by mental health personnel, including daily visits by correctional and medical staff during each shift to make sure their mental health does not worsen. In addition, any prisoner with a mental health diagnosis in restricted housing will be visited at least once a week by mental health personnel and offered monthly out-of-cell monitoring by a mental health professional.

Thanks, @FrostedGlass for the court update -- seems trial still on for May 17.

March 30 was 2nd year anniversary of Nicole Bowen's murder and it pains my heart that Garth remains unconvicted and unpunished for the murder.

By all accounts, she should have entered a plea deal by now but I think she believes she deserves nothing more than her previous deal which amounted to about 6 years in prison.

Out of the crew, I find Garth the most manipulating and dangerous here. I think she had a lot of control over all the others involved in Nicole's death.

Sept 4, 2020

Drinski said Garth has a plea agreement pending that would drop the murder charge for a felony charge of assisting a criminal. Drinski said that charge carries a maximum of six years in prison. He said Garth is scheduled to take a polygraph test next week, leading up to her next court date on Oct. 21.

Plus she's had her freedom all this time.

IMO, this is such a strange group. Other than drugs and this murder, I haven't seen anything else that ties them together; but I probably haven't been deep enough down the rabbit hole.
