Wondering about this case - @FrostedGlass for Kirts:

Tippercanoe County #79D05-1902-F6-000263

edited to add: and this one?

IN – Charles Ray Hanish (49) (March 17, 2019 found in his home, Reynolds) – suspect Garrett Kirts (21). White County
White County Prosecutor Bob Guy confirmed that he’s waiting for Kirts’ trial to wrap up in Newton County before filing any charges connected to Ray Hanish’s death in Reynolds. He declined to give many details, other than to say witnesses tied to the Newton County death of Nicole Bowen have cooperated in the White County investigation too. Alleged cause of death asphyxiation.

@FrostedGlass - do you think Kirts will be there for Garth's trial as a witness maybe??
That would be my best guess since the date coincided with the first trial date (not counting first day of jury selection).

Here's the final entry on
Kirt's 79D05-1902-F6-000263

04/02/2019 = Warrant or Writ of Attmnt for the Body of a Person Issued

Jasmine Parker also came to mind; she had some stuff going on from Jan-Mar but it didn't seem have anything to do with this case. Maybe I should post it anyway? She wanted a change of commitment but it was denied. It seems that Beckley and Mathis are still out on bond.

If Kirts is being called as a witness, it surely must be for the state. Garth sure wouldn't want to risk having him testify in her behalf (would she?)

I went back through Garth's case; these were the only entries regarding witnesses except for Sozio:

Wish they would put the actual pdf on the court site so we can see "who" the witnesses are!

So nothing on the Hanish's case in White County? TIA!

One thing I've learned is to never go on record as waiving your rights. Murz is probably kicking himself on a daily basis for waiving his rights to a 30-day sentencing.

That JS is a busy guy! Seven pending cases, three warrants, multiple levels of felonies. He's currently in Newton County jail.

Bringing the entries up to date since they rejected the plea on May 6:

911 caller, crime scene tech testify in Ashley Garth murder trial

Garth had a plea agreement hearing scheduled for May 3rd where she had the chance of taking a guilty plea agreement. However after a powerful statement given by Bowen's older son, who is 10-years-old, Judge Daniel Molter rescinded the plea agreement, forcing Garth's case to go to a jury trial.

:( Her poor son... how heartbreaking for all of her children:( I’m glad the judge rescinded the plea.

Thanks for the link that finally explains what happened with the plea deal. Nonetheless -- Garett Kirts is also expected to testify tomorrow and I hope he buries her once and for all.
