My personal guess is that he is probably not a pedophile in the strictest sense of the word in that I don't think he is exclusively attracted to prepubescent children. He was reported as having both CSAM and violent adult *advertiser censored*. It wouldn't surprise me if his primary attraction is to people being hurt, regardless of age.

There was a lawsuit where a pornstar said that Josh bought more than $500 worth of lap dances from her and then they had rough consensual sex which turned into rape and Josh trying to kill her, but it was dropped because the pornstar said it happened in Philadelphia and he was allegedly shown not to be in Philadelphia at the time. She should have been in her late 20s at the time, the pornstar in question is a year older than him. But again, allegedly it's not true because he wasn't in Philadelphia.

Pretty much. The only remorse that they feel is the fact that they were caught.

Which, INMO, makes them far more dangerous when they are released. They have learned how to do things stealthily.

My personal wish is that Anna Duggar would divorce Josh, and start court proceedings to terminate all parental rights. She would be granted that in a heartbeat.

I looked at that article. Fogle accessed CSAM. But he ALSO traveled to sexually abuse a minor. He plead guilty. Got 15 years.

Thanks Shamrock. It was a strange case. I am inclined to believe her, but as you said, there were inconsistencies.

His FB friends were mostly exotic dancers.

OK, I found an article. He used the alias Joe Smithson and used a photo of a Goldman Sachs employee. He had 30 friends, ranging from random married Arkansas women to strippers. I know Joe is a very common name, but it creeps me out that he used that when he has a brother named Joe.
