UPDATE 7/30/15
COVINGTON, Ky. (AP) - A federal judge has dismissed most, but not all, claims in a lawsuit that accuses eastern Kentucky disability lawyer Eric Conn of colluding with a judge to rig Social Security cases.

The Associated Press reports two of the claims remain. One accuses Conn and former Administrative Law Judge David Daugherty of conspiracy. The other accuses Conn of defrauding the government. Conn has been under scrutiny for several years, but hasn't been charged with a crime and is still in practice. He has denied any wrongdoing.

Earlier this year, the Social Security Administration suspended benefits to hundreds of Conn's clients because of suspected fraud. The agency reversed its decision at the urging of U.S. Rep. Hal Rogers, but those people will be required to re-prove their disability claims.

Alfred Adkins gets 25 years, $93M fine.

LEXINGTON, Ky. - A Pikeville, Kentucky, psychologist's involvement in disgraced former attorney Eric Conn's $550 million Social Security fraud scheme and rejection to take a plea deal will cost him 25 years behind bars and more than $93 million in fines, the U.S. Department of Justice announced Friday.
While Adkins was the final defendant to be sentenced in the case, the book on the largest Social Security fraud case in the nation may never close with its ringleader Conn missing after he absconded from supervision prior to his own sentencing.

WooHoo!

Its always a good feeling when con's who ruined so many lives get caught. This man could care less how many lives he ruined and took advantage of it all for money he will never see.

I hope the stress of looking over his shoulder this whole time messed with his head. Now to jail to sit in the cage he belongs in.
