This is one of those cases, like the Stines case, where I don't understand why people can't just plead guilty and stop doing damage to the victims. She did it. It's on video. Why drag people through a horrible trial?

Of course decent people cannot understand why someone would continue to deny their guilt, even when it is clear as day-- we cannot get into the mind of someone like that (be greatful)- it seems most people who commit crimes will try any way to get out of paying for what they did. these kinds of people have no regard for others and have no compunction about dragging people thru a prolonged trial.

It is a lousy court site - no details on the hearings, etc. Hopefully the October date sticks!

Every time I see this case appear in my watched threads, I get angry. Biggest legal clusterflock ever!

In California, one can often see cases with delays of 5-7 years before trial. It's not rare at all.
The worst case I ever followed though was in Florida of all places, where it took 12 years to bring Beau Bruneau to trial for the vicious and gruesome murder of his mother. He was found not guilty by reason of insanity. Literally hundreds of hearings, continuances, change of counsel, endless psychiatric exams, etc etc.
I sometimes can't believe I followed it to the end.

Born and raised, I know it well.

On video, no dispute as to who did this - recorded for the world to see. This case should have been a slam dunk.

As usual in cases like this, the defense causes delay after delay with delay tactics and BS defenses- so here we are--- no case is a slam dunk--- i have learned that----that doesn't mean it shouldn't be but with the BS defenses and tactics used by the defense you just never know how a jury will react

These BS delays are very difficult for the families of the innocent decedents mowed down by this biotch-----those are the ones that suffer the most---
