Next witness is Chantal Pombert, Ottawa Police officer. Was called re suspicious package
I was informed there was a foot in the package. Witness is member of forensic identification unit
Officer went to Albert St. The RCMP's chemical, biological and radiation unit had already ID'd it as a foot
Pombert said the employees who opened parcel saw blood
Pombert took photos as coroner examined foot. Then it was transferred to the morgue.
We are now going to look at Pombert's photos
Address of party is 130 Albert St. We see black garbage bag on floor, pink tissue paper and Canada Post box
There's a lovely photo of Stephen on the wall in the party office
We see the foot. Looks white/yellow
Some photos show the spot where the foot was severed from the leg. It was placed in styrofoam cooler to send to morgue
Some people in room are covering their eyes as photos of foot shown
Return address is Renée Bordelais
Received info that a second parcel was in transit. It was intercepted at Canada Post plant on May 29
See photo of that parcel. Pombert went to postal inspector's office
The second package, which contained left hand, was taken to the morgue
It was addressed to Liberal Party of Canada. Same return address as the Tory package. Name was Renée Bordelais
Same pink tissue paper and this note
Also in black wine gift bag, wrapped in black garbage bag. We see the hand, yellowish in colour. Skin shrivelled; finger tips cut
