I think the media are doing more to jeopardise it, proper fact checking seems to be non-existent

Having been largely out of touch for a couple of days, have they offered a reward for anyone (fishermen esp) turning in a piece of wreckage? Flying across the area leafleting could be very worthwhile...

probers looking at whether #mh370 was diverted "with the intention of using it later for another purpose."

deb price ‏@bydebprice 38s

#mh370 could have flown for 2,200 nautical miles -- as far as indian ocean, the border of pakistan, the arabian sea.

to be honest...being accused of paranoia while brainstorming solutions on ws is insulting...

The reason why cases remain on websleuths is due to their unusual factors... Otherwise the cases would be solved... Perp placed in jail...,case closed...move along...

For instance... Who would have thought that a case i followed... Where a gal was taken from her coffee shop in alaska ...would lead to the capture of one of the most prolific serial killers of our time... Israel keyes...

If anyone had mentioned this outcome at the beginning of the case... S/he would have been patronized by some...

But the fact remains... Unique cases call for unique theories... And these theories even if not true... Are harmful to no one... But may be helpful to many...

All jmo...

great post and so true

I can tell you where its NOT

Did I just hear "Chinese satellite images released by mistake ??

What ??

Australian news is now reporting the aircraft "DEFINATELY" turned back and went over towards Indonesia.

I can tell you right now, if that happened, Indonesia would have known about it.

Not quite so sure, in no way Indonesian air force or military capability is better than Malaysia. I believe Singapore would have known provided their superior US supplied radar coverage can extend right up to the tip sumatra island.

Haven't seen the statement in context. I think China meant it as it was a mistake to release it.

Agreed. I should have clarified - if the aircraft had crashed into Sumatra villagers would have reported it by now. Its a highly populated island.
