There's a "Jane Doe Appeals" video on Youtube on the case that shows a morgue photo. According to the Doe Network, it can't be verified to be of this victim but it looks similar enough to the renderings of her.

I found the video ***WARNING POSTMORTEM**** I posted the video in order to see the Jane Doe because its really so hard to tell with the 3 very different artist renderings of the UID

the video has a little more information also.. says the Trailway Ticket was from Miami to Florida.. I was looking to see if it mentioned a date for the ticket but it did not.

I found this woman Carol Skidmore her stats seem in range except for her eye color.. but what also struck me was her name and the UID has CS as one of her tattoos.. I just thought I would post..

I was also thinking she was wearing mens clothing could she have been a lesbian that ran away from her family to start a life elsewhere?. It was a much harder time. In 1979 being a lesbian was not accepted like how it is today.

Correction the Trailway ticket was from MIAMI to GEORGIA. I made a mistake above. I have not been able at all to find a date

Could she have been traveling to The First National March In Washington for Lesbian and Gay Rights. She was killed Sept 30th and the March was to be held October 14 1979 which fell at the 10 year anniversary of Stonewall. It was one of the largest, tons of people came from all over. What stuck out to me was part of the March was on Pennsylvania Ave and that is I believe the are where she was killed.

The march began at 4th Street and the National Mall, turned left onto Pennsylvania Avenue, proceeded northwest towards the White House, turned left onto 15th Street, right onto E Street, left onto 17th Street and ended in a rally between the Washington Monument and the Reflecting Pool.

I don't know if there is a way to reach out to the LGBT community to see if anyone remembers someone they knew that never made it to the march? Just some thoughts.

I was going to mention the thing with the tattoos. We take them so much for granted on both sexes these days, but a woman with ink like that would have been unusual to say the least.

Yes these days its much more common but not in the 1970s was it common for a woman to be tattooed and with more than one even less common.. I wish there were photos of the tattoos and of her clothing and if there were tags maybe could be found where they came from..and a date of when the bus ticket was from..

I have not stopped thinking about this girl trying to figure this out and what came to mind was her Rudy tattoo and that she was seen with a Black Guy causing trouble.. immediately my punk rock child hood came to mind and thought Rudy and Rude boy that was always used in Ska and was a term that ment delinquient or trouble maker and became a look also.. Many of the girls dressed androgynous or was a Riot Grrl before that even became a term, she could of been part of the Early Punk, Ska, New Wave and Artist crowd. I don't know what her hair looked like but looking at her Post mortem it has that look.. I am thinking this girl either went missing years prior and changed her hair. Or she could of been from UK where Punk all began?

Michelle Mulcahy. I found her and her lips have the extra skin on the upper lip like the postmortem in the video. Her has a similar shape. Her stats are similar and she is from Florida

Circumstances of Discovery
The victim was located at I-95, North of Pennsylvania Avenue Exit, Northbound Lane/South of Maryland Rout 4 in Upper Marlboro, MD.

She was seen hitchhiking prior to this. A Trailways bus ticket was found in her pants issued in Miami, Florida. The ticket seller remembered the victim.

She was possibly with an African-American male who caused trouble at the bus station and had to be removed by police.
