Just looked at the cases side by side. The missing person has DNA (but no dentals or fingerprints), whilst the unidentified female has dentals (but no DNA or fingerprints). This looks to me like a good potential comparison, but they are unfortunately incomparable.

I saw that too. I always hope there's a lost dental chart floating around somewhere. It's so frustrating. I wish there was a clearer pic of Phyllis' teeth. To further rise the frustration level.

Cassandra Elizabeth Durham was recently added to NamUs. She went missing from Roscommon, about 3 hours north-west of Detroit sometime after August 1st, 1987.

Circumstances of Disappearance: Last contact was with her father over the phone in August of 1987. She was staying with her boyfriend's grandfather near Roscommon, MI. She left Baltimore, MD, with her boyfriend (also from Baltimore, MD).
Boyfriend returned to Baltimore, MD around 1988 pr 1989, but father has not heard from his daughter since.

Some of the stats are slightly off. I tried to compare Cassandra's teeth in the NamUs link to the UID's teeth posted upthread, and Cassandra's looked larger and rounder, but I want to hear what you think.

Hi, I am Mike Flynn.This all sounds very much like my sister Phyllis Flynn. However, she whouldn't have had the money for a tour shirt. Tom Petty was right up her ally Bob Dylan was not. I saw a link to indentifyus.org but the domain won't come up for me on or off the VPN. I am waiting to hear back from Pam our oldest sister on possibly better pics of Phyllis and her teeth. Phyllis Flynn went missing in May 88 and was last known to live in the Southwest side of Detroit in a hotel with her boyfriend. Her hair is mentioned as having blond streaks. The height is off quite a bit. I tried to enlarge pics to check teeth but they are fuzzy at best. Phyllis' teeth appear to have the straight bottom edges of UID but I think her top jaw as a whole is wider

This looks like quite a good possibility to me. The height is a discrepancy, but the height on the case file shows that they weren't actually able to provide a solid estimation, and there also would have been room for her to grow between the last sighting and the postmortem interval. The Hotel Yorba had (and I believe still has) a reputation as a flophouse, so maybe she somehow ended up somewhere else in Detroit.

If it is Phyllis it is very well possible.

I'm 5'5" and have been for as long as I can remember and Phyllis was always taller than me. She could easily been 5'6-5'7.

I would love to know more about how this UID was found. She was only in the attic of the rental house for just under two and a half years, so who was renting the house during that time and who found her?

History of the property would help piece things together for sure! I tried to ask DPD when I just called but they didn't want much to do with me.
