One question: I know that the Tracey documentary was originally aired in the U.K. but didn't it show in the US as well? Two nights ago, Court TV aired the documentary that I thought was Tracey's. I was so annoyed that they would do this despite the fact it was shown to be a bunch of hooey. I turned it off.

Totally different documentary. Tracey had to dump the doc he worked so hard on and was only shown in G.B. He had to dump it because we exposed it as a lie. He couldn't show it knowing the "prime suspect" was exposed and was no more a prime suspect than Mickey Mouse.

Thanks for posting your work on the Mr. X situation, Jayelles. I know that many here now were not here at that time and may not be aware of all that transpired. I remember when I first found out Mr. X's true identity I googled his name and immediately got his personal info! For Mr. Tracey to have said that Mr. X was being sought and couldn't be located (my own words here) was an outright misrepresentation.

This whole case has been a circus from day 1.

Guys, you have got to realize that without Jayelles doing all this work and taking to time to get screen shots Tracey would be sitting pretty and holding court with the great media people of the world.

I tried to find the proper thread for this question, but I had to reregister and I lost the thread I was reading. Can someone explain the Michael Tracy/picture of Nancy Krebs with a teddy bear situation? I was under the assumption that the teddy bear was given to JonBenet in a pageant and one of the pageant owners confirmed this.

Tricia, I was so furious that the British public were fed this crock of garbage. We were fed it as though it were factual when it was just a bunch of amateurs who hadn't taken the time to do their homework. That's what's been wrong with this case - too many people with huge egos and personal agendas. Tracey comes over from the States and tells the British public that the media told lies about the Ramseys - and then proceeds to tell more lies to redress the balance!!

I was annoyed that his documentary wasn't exposed for the sham it was over here. Most Brits don't follow the case and are only aware of the "facts" as presented by Michael Tracey in his three documentaries. It would have taken someone like myself to have complained to the media watchdog OFCOM about the documentary and I'm afraid I wasn't willing to go public with my personal details in order to do that. Michael Tracey just wasn't worth it from that respect.

However, I am delighted that last week, before this latest news broke, that a documentary by Bill Kurtis was shown here. It didn't tell us anything we didn't already know about the case (we being the Brits) - except for the fact that the Ramseys played their part in the investigation going awry. The documentary was well made, and clearly presented and it emphasised the fact that the BPD, Ramseys and Media were equally responsible and that the Ramseys had brought suspicion upon themselves through their behaviour.

I've been struggling to keep up with the latest developments as I'm up to my neck in my own work just now. Fortunately, this is mostly computer-based work and I have found the radio shows a godsend because I can work and listen at the same time. I've been interested to hear different radio presenters sayin the same thing about Michael Tracey - i.e. that when they heard HIS name mentioned, it raised a big red flag for them. I would like these radio presenters to be furnished with the details of Tracey III version 1 and hope that they broadcast them for all to hear because it is PROOF of his lack of credibility and PROOF that he is so desperate to find a suspect who isn't a Ramsey that he will even concoct one.

I note that jameson is distancing herself from this - she has already said she doesn't think this is the guy.

I'll be watching it. Right now it's Nancy Grace on another channel. I am shocked by how poorly she understands the facts of the case. She outlined her little scenario and said how could Karr take the child from under her parents' nose, eat pineapple with JonBenet, lounge around, and write the ransom note.

Even a person who only read a little about the case knows that this is not the likely sequence of events.

Nancy Grace is also very offended by Karr's flight, and his shrimp and champagne and not being handcuffed, and allowed to wear a tie. Does she say all these things just to make good TV and anger people? This has an explanation (regulations, routine, rules; he's not likely to commit suicide with his tie) and is not done to offend the public, for heaven's sake.
Can we get her off the air? I am watching only because she has the girl whose yearbook Karr signed. That is a scoop, but she's not doing a very good interview with her. Still, better than nothing.

PS I see Glenn Beck is another idiot who has his own show on that channel, he spent time mocking Karr and the entire case and he actually said the story is not Karr, it's child pornographers. Sorry Glenn but right now the story is Karr and did he or did he not do it.

LKL is coming on in a minute. Nancy Grace did point out the handwriting matches; that was good journalism. I haven't seen anyone else do them side by side on tv. The unusual d's and a's I noted right away are visible to anyone. It's not rocket science, but then it's also not considered hard evidence; a jury has to decide.

Then she interviewed someone about the Xmas photos of the Karr family that were found: Karr is not in them.

yes and they dont have one-they have one with the kids in it..karrs kids..i dont see how that could exonerate him..and they do not remember the specific christmas-what they recall is that he was always with them at christmas..so we will have to see.

Standard jail uniform. Watching him around the clock every 15 minutes or so.

Kept away from inmates for his own safety.
US government paid for the flight.

Tomorrow is a simple extradition hearing. If he contests his identity there will be a formal hearing. They expect he will waive extradition, so Boulder detectives can take him as early as tomorrow afternoon.

Two attorneys from bay area have spoken with him. Rocky Mtn news will report it. Won't name them here (Note, one was named on another channel, a woman).
