GUILTY MO - Jacque Rawson Waller, 39, Jackson, 31 May 2011

Thrilled and equally saddened for Jacque's family - has always been in our thoughts in the UK. Look forward to seeing justice done. Such a courageous family who have fought so hard but always shone such a positive, beautiful light for their daughter. *advertiser censored*

After the announcement, Jacque's family posted the following statement on the Facebook page Find Jacque S Waller:
"It is with a heavy heart I deliver this message. Our daughter, mother, sister and friend has been found. God has planned everything well to place us in this very moment. God guided the law enforcement officials, searchers, K9s and most of all the prayers being sent to the prison to weigh heavily on clays mind. We thank everyone of you who has supported us and assisted us in this terrible nightmare. We have no arrangements as of yet but we will be able to lay our Jacque Sue to rest....finally. God Bless you all!"

Now Stan and Ruby can give their beloved Jacque a proper burial. My thoughts are with her family, friends and especially her children.

I wonder if Clay finally did the right thing?

There was a time when I had so much hope that she might be found alive. :tears: After awhile, I knew that wasn't going to happen. I was so happy when her killer was arrested and her kids were no longer around him.

:rose: Rest in peace, precious Jacque. You left this world way too soon :rose:

:rose: Rest in peace Jacque :rose:

I can hardly type through my tears. I am so relieved that her family can properly bury her. I am filled with such sorrow that their worst fears were realized when he took her life. I have had her on my mind this past week so much. I cannot even explain my emotions right now.

I do wonder if Clay finally manned up. This part of the statement from the family "most of all the prayers being sent to the prison to weigh heavily on clays mind" makes me wonder if he finally fessed up.

I am praying right now for Jacque's little ones. I am certain that they are loved where they are, but may they continue to find peace knowing that their mother loved them dearly.

"Just shock," is what Jacque Waller's sister, Cheryl Brenneke, said she felt when she heard her sister's body had been found earlier this week.

"You anticipate how you're going to feel for two years," Brenneke said. "You just can't prepare yourself, really. You just can't."

Brenneke said the family's hands are tied as far as releasing any more information about the circumstances of the discovery of the body. She did say that the family was told to expect a plea from Clay Waller in the murder case, but didn't know authorities were going to recover Jacque Waller's body.

Devil's Island is such a remote, desolate, lonely place. It now makes sense that he took a boat, he would need it to cross the channel. It's just a small side channel of the Mississippi, but there aren't any bridges that connect it to the mainland. Poor girl.

Much sympathies and prayers to her family. They've endured so much. :rose:

ETA: SE Missourian reporting officials were seen at Devil's Island the day before the announcement.

So he confessed. What a surprise. He seemed like such a cocky, evil and ruthless that Id never have expected a confession.

I saw the news and immediately came here to post. I followed Jacque's disappearance to the point of having a bookmark file for her name in my Current Case file.

Sadly, with all the cases that have come up since, I've neglected this one. I will be going back to read more as time allows.

For now, my heart is breaking for her family, especially her 7-year-old's. The timeliness of the discovery of her body gives me hope for other cases where the body has yet to be found.

God bless them all that they can find solace in giving Jacque the proper burial she so deserves.

The one thing that makes me happy in this story is knowing how much love and support those kiddos are receiving by being with their aunt. Of course no one can ever take the place of your loving momma, but this woman is really the next best thing. They will be cared for and loved, just like Jacque would want them to be.

Rest in Peace Jacque. Know that your babies are in safe hands and I believe justice will be served! Kudos to you for attempting to get away from this monster. Your love and kindness and desire to help others will never be forgotten. I'm so proud of you for keeping a journal with all of the hard times you went through with him. Women in similar situations should do the same. It's a huge eye opener when cases turn the way yours, unfortunately, did.

Sending you all my love. <3

Just got the news. Praying for peace and grace for her family, especially for the sweet little triplets. May they be blessed with strength to endure. So glad they found her. Time now for justice.

This case hit me hard. I just read up on it this week. We have the same first name and spell it the same. I went through a similiar situation. Luckily I made it through the divorce. Things are better. My heart goes out to her family and children. He sounds like a narassistic #$$%!!! Like my ex. It's all about them and the kids are just pawns in the game they play. They are incapable of loving another human. It's not about love. It's about power, control, losing what they want and can control.
At least the children have gotten away from him. The emotional damage these people do to their children and the lack of help the courts give is just sickening.

At 1:30 Central time will be the plea change.
Heartland News will have the only video camera in the hearing.
There will be a news conference at 3:30 p.m. after the sentencing with various law enforcement agencies, coroner, prosecuting attorney, and several of Jacque Waller's family members. Heartland News will carry that press conference live on KFVS
