NC NC - Ebonee Spears, 30, Wilmington, 15 Jan 2016

This is probably unrelated to Ebony, but police are conducting a death investigation in a remote area in Castle Hayne, NC: https://www.wwaytv3.com/2017/11/05/sheriffs-office-investigating-after-body-found-in-castle-hayne/

Castle Hayne is only about 8 miles from Brooklyn Lane in Wilmington: https://www.google.com/maps/dir/Cas...319a9a757fb!2m2!1d-77.9459989!2d34.250378!3e0

Now, she was seen in front of the Boys & Girls Club AFTER THE WPD?!

Why did the timelines for the Boys & Girls witnesses, the 7pm phone conversation details, and the last-seen at 10:45pm, all just suddenly change?!

I AM DONE WITH THIS!

No one in here anymore?
I feel as if I've been pissing in the wind since day one, so I no longer can tell the difference between being abandoned and just no one giving a ****.

You aren't the only one who cares, dgrace51. I have followed this case and just have no clue with the changing timelines. I hope that Ebonee comes home soon. Such a beautiful girl :( I think about her and her family often.

Not much anyone can do with police silent and any other info unreliable.

It's so disheartening. I should be up that way next week. Hopefully my hard copy of my PI license will be here by then and maybe, just maybe, the WPD will be willing to share what info they can. I'll also try to get pics of the areas that she visited or was seen that night.

HI. First time posting but long time lurker to this case as well as many others. I’m a Wilmington resident and have followed this throughout the past couple years. Has anyone proposed any theories to what may have happened to her? The little information that has been released publicly isn’t much to go on, but also doesn’t help that the facts themselves are inconsistent. Not sure if that is due to bad reporting or bad police work.

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY)– Just days away from the 3 year anniversary of Ebonee Spears’ missing person’s case. The CUE Center for Missing Persons honored spears at the their annual Pig Pickin’.

The Pig Pickin’ brings awareness to missing people all over the country. Dozens stopped by for a barbecue lunch. All donations support the search and recovery fund for missing people. Spokesperson Monica Caison says just because people have faded from the media does not mean they have been found.

“We’re not stopping,” said Harriet Rivers, Ebonee Spears’ mother. “We’re not giving up. We are going to continue to look and search for Ebonee until she’s home so, whoever is out there don’t think we’re not continuing to look for her.”

A Wilmington woman missing for more than three years is now the subject of a true crime Podcast episode.

The Vanished Podcast, which features stories of people who have disappeared, covered the story of Ebonee Spears in its most recent episode, episode 181. Spears, 32, was last seen Jan. 14, 2016, when she apparently attempted to make a phone call at the Wilmington Police Department, then wandered away.

In the hour-long The Vanished episode, host Marissa Jones interviews Spears’ family members, including her mother, Harriett Rivers.

A little behind on finding this...but....

It’s been three years since Ebonee Spears was last seen. Since January, 2016, her picture has been seen on numerous billboards, on television, and in newspaper publications, but not one sign of her in person. Still, friends and family are not giving up hope of finding her and will host what they are calling a Roadside Rally this week, a day before the anniversary of her disappearance.
