Knocked him across the room? No marks or injuries?

I am sorry but this reporter is a mess imo
A complete mess. He works sports. Has a massive ego and IMHO is bigoted as it goes. Disgraceful.

Martens testified that Jason Corbett had been drinking

I previously reported Martens purchased the bat. That's incorrect. The bat was in his garage and was used by his son when he was younger

Martens said he thought jack would think it'd be cool to get a bat that was used by his son

What was the original story tM gave to police re bat? Its in the warrants, but need exact original story? does anybody remember?I know theres millions of stories.. Did he not tell them he purchased a new bat, or not?

TM is digging............ let him dig , let him defy the scientific proof, the factual evidence, the testimony from his former work colleague and explain his filp /flop statements regarding the numerous changes to his fable....... TM is in the bag ,IMO. It's the little princess that has to be drawn into the web of truth. the longer she is not asked to engage with the proceedings the tenser she will become. If TM shows any sign of vunerability she will collaspe...........IMO

I thought he hit him until he let go of MM. He had her in a chokehold. How dud he get his hands free to shove TM across the room?

Here's Toms testimony
Mr Martens said he repeatedly struck Mr Corbett with the baseball bat but, at one point, Mr Corbett shoved him away and managed to grab the bat.Mr Martens said he jumped back up off the floor and rushed Mr Corbett.
Somehow, he said he managed to regain control of the bat from the younger man.
"I did not want to hit Molly. His head was taller than hers."
Mr Martens claimed his son-in-law had his daughter in a choke hold and he was afraid when he saw the young woman stop trying to wiggle.
"I don't know how many times I hit him in the head."
"I was scared. That's what I remember. I am shook up."
"Molly was screaming (at Jason); 'Don't hit my Dad.' Things looked pretty bleak."
Mr Martens said he was convinced that if he fled the bedroom his daughter would have been killed.
"If I get out of the bedroom he is going to kill Molly. He is bigger, stronger and younger than me."
"I felt both our lives were in danger."
"I just did the best I could."
Eventually, he said his son-in-law fell to the ground after repeated blows to the head.

This is highly insulting
Mr Martens had described Mr Fitzpatrick as "uneducated" and claimed he also found him hard to understand.
However, Ina Stanton, for the prosecution, objected to the statement being allowed on the basis it was both highly prejudicial and inflammatory.

If this is the case, why was it necessary to use a paving stone to hit him as well?

How "down" did he have to be? Remember those layered fractures? Any one of which would cause unconsciousness.

Tom didnt do such a good job . He spins a good tale and can even add tears into the works . He also managed to get a few insults in . Excuse my language but his head is so far up his own backside he is not thinking how the jury will react to insulting JAson and his friends and family

I am sorry but this reporter is a mess imo

The reporter says in his twitter replies that he is usually a sports reporter and it's his first court case. Thrown in at the deep end a bit!

I wonder how the jury liked the information about his younger days, kicking in doors of people's homes in Miami?

Possibly both were drunk, frenzied, crazed and with a blood lust. out of control completely.. thats assuming he spoke a word of truth, We know he is dishonest. From the Indo article, reading between the lines he may well have had a colourful FBI record too.. The quotes and the questions posed by prosecution suggest all was not well, sane or professional... Control is paramount in FBI. If they dont have that, they have nothing, including respect for law and the oaths they swore..
Think maybe more will be revealed in this regard.. This IMO.. all of it.
