He gets attention because he is well-known. Shame on them all IMHO.

I am not excusing or justifying his actions. But I have not heard the name of any other man involved.

Arrest the people who trafficked these young women.

Not to negate his actions, but many other men used the same service, and are not being publicly shamed. Shame them all, or stop the public flogging of this particular man.

These rates were under $100. I know in reality, it really is irrelevant, but there is just something extra yuck to me about billionaires using young women like this. Cheap b@stards. These girls are living in horrific conditions. It's not even like the Eliot Spitzer type girls who, even after the agency took a cut, were making bank and buying designer handbags and shoes. I realize that all comes with its own set of messed up issues and isn't necessarily better. But this just seems extra seedy. And stupid that these men weren't even attempting to pay more for discretion and self-protection, even in theory! All IMO only. The difference is these girls were trafficked! The articles report them sleeping on the massage tables and cooking on the back steps. They thought they were coming to the US for different jobs.

that's why i think there is much more to this story. there is a reason these super wealthy men were using this one "spa." and i probably don't even wanna know the answer. i bet we will not get the dirty details, like i said earlier in the thread, but i'm kinda happily surprised that they are even naming such big names so far! i guarantee you this has much to do with the warnings of super bowl sex trafficking that have surfaced over recent years. but what is it about this place that makes these disgusting men keep going back for more at such cheap prices, when they can all afford just about anything they can possibly dream of ? i want to know, but i probably do not want to know, if ya know what i mean. i hope they keep listing names though!

That’s where I am, bad enough paying for sex, but I doubt the ones paying are/were aware the girls were being trafficked.

They may not know with certainty, and I don’t think people are expecting that. But no reasonably informed person could not suspect it.

Personally, I would not support a business that I have a reasonable suspicion may be involved in human trafficking.

As for your nail salon, I guess if you require absolute proof then your conscience will always be clear. You know it’s a possibility and you don’t seem to mind.

That sounds fine. The problem is the money, and the drugs. I used to work with young women who were "exotic dancers", who were incarcerated for illegal drug use and dealing. I tried to rehabilitate these girls, and they laughed at me. They were making so much cash under the table, that working a job at $9.00 an hour was a joke to them.

For whatever reason, these young women self medicate with illegal drugs. If they don't stop "exotic dancing", they will never get clean. It is a never ending cycle.

A few did participate in rehabilitation, usually the ones with children in CPS custody.
