Or maybe she was being forced to assume a new identity?! I just hope this beautiful girl is someplace safe! I now realize why my mother was so strict with me as a teen! As a teenager/young adult, we are often times oblivious to the darkness in the world around us. It’s not necessarily a bad quality to only see the good in people, to be full of optimism & to doubt that anything so serious could ever happen...however, as we all know (esp us here on WS), those with bad intentions prey on people like this. It’s so sad. I feel for her parents. I can’t even imagine how they feel. [emoji174]

Research shows that a very large number of human trafficking victims access a health care facility or provider during their trafficking situation. Now several states, are requiring human trafficking training for health care staff to help identify victims. I'm so worried about this girl. She may have chosen the path, but not the direction. Any news, anywhere?

Last I looked many of the ads had been taken down.

I found the other girl from the ads on FB but she doesn't have Corinna as a friend on there.

No updates for a long long time... I wonder if the police are even looking, there are so many like her. So sad =*(

Dangerous move imo. How are these girls supposed to be traced if anything happens? At least these ads had dates and locations.

Corinna's last ad was the same date she was last seen, she listed her locations as “Ozone Park, Queens, Woodhaven, Flushing, Astoria.”

Corinna has been missing for just over nine months now. No updates anywhere. Why the hush-hush?

I hope to God she's hidden somewhere, maybe threatened not to contact her family and friends who love her and she was always in contact with, but sadly I don't believe she's with us anymore...
 
Don't think this is her. CS was lured to NYC by this low-life. According to posts up thread she went there by a veiled promise of a better life, but fell into a hellish life including phyiscal abuse. But she failed to follow up on a restraining order and family lost contact after that last post. IIRC police said they believed she was handed off to others and likely out of state. So this is not likely referring to her.

As far as hush hush, IIRC her family hired someone experienced with these cases to try to track her down and establish contact. They were also asked not to comment in the media not to make things more difficult. Who knows if that happened?

Also remember she was over 18 when she went and an adult so that is a different though not less painfull situation.

Aa far as the links to ads disappearing the FOSTA act ended that with the federal siezing of the Backpage servers and the remaining sites (CL) going offline or removing posts in order to avoid prosecution. Though it was a useful tool for us inquisitors others believed it made or promoted these situtations.
 
There are other sites beside backpage to sleuth around. Eccie, USAsexguide, etc. I'm not sure I can mention the site names, please delete if the case. However, those sites have relocated the servers and ownership to countries that will not go along with the SESTA/FOSTA, and have a fair amount of managed women advertising on there. I also agree that the disappearence of Backpage has made it harder. Backpage is how I located my sister. The unfortunate thing is that once Corinna gets stuck in the cycle (drugs, fast money etc), the longer she stays, the harder it will be to leave....and the more damage done. I actually feel she is alive and I try and keep an eye out on the other sites....the main issue is I don't think she is likely in NYC anymore, so it's hard to know where to look.

IMO she is in a cycle not able/willing to escape. She is maybe in some one-off situation somewhere, in a "gentlemens" club, getting by. Ors he could be back in PA doing the local circuit and the story not worth reporting.
She didn't have a great life in PA, according to the early reports (family issues and depression) that this guy took advantage of to friend her and lure her. Her old digital footprint is history IMO. Her story and future is probably all too common sadly.

I wouldn’t completely discredit that this may be her, while I’m sure there are plenty of 19 year old girls reported missing and endangered out of PA trafficked into NYC, she is the first person who popped into my head when I read the preliminary details. It says this man met her several weeks ago in NYC and lured her up to Albany. Maybe he met her on a “date” or was involved in trafficking her out of the city by whomever was holding her. It’s not ouside the realm of possibility that she was still in NYC several weeks ago, as there are plenty of pockets to hide someone, even if she was sent out of state she could have been circulated back. I guess we will have to wait and see if her family reports her as located.
