Good catch on the moment Jake's courtroom demeanor changed. It was when he was confessing to Kenny's murder. Just IMO, but I think he saw Kenny's family in the court gallery. The W4 had killed their father.

I sense HMR, JW and KR were close friends in the past. I can't imagine their sense of ultimate betrayal.

Now, like deer in headlights, this is the exact moment when Jake and his attorney turn their heads and look squarely into the gallery and into the faces of the families.

It was mentioned in a discussion that DNA was found on the knife. I don't remember this and I find it quite significant. Do you know anything about it?
I can't find the Discovery that lists the knife, it's the Discovery that lists the cement buckets and guns.

I assume it is this Discovery that lists DNA from the knife.

KR and LR were on the very front row on JW side in the court room. I believe his ex was in the back of the courtroom. He had been looking all around at everyone in the courtroom a lot it seemed to me when he was sitting down.

I've wondered the same, but why would he lie at this point? He's already gotten LWOP, the best he can get from the state. He already admitted to killing 5 of the 8 victims. He knows the state has a vast amount of evidence


Or they dressed in what they usually wear to go hunting - camo gear. Black clothes are also possible. It was still cool at night, so they would have needed jackets or something.

WRT upcoming hearings for GW4 and Billy, I wonder if we'll end up seeing these delayed again as COVID 19 cases are on the rise, with the Delta variant.

Pike County is only 34% vaccinated right now

They did mention a captain America mask, but I am pretty sure at one point in testifying the BCI agent also said masks when speaking, but not specifically

Anything surprising in the discovery or in his confession to anyone? I was surprised the weapons were hidden on Flying W and that it seems to me his aunt/cousin bought or ended up with the GMC Sierra.

I was also surprised they used so many vehicles the night of the murders. I assumed they used 1, maybe 2. Three seemed a lot of logistical planning and chances of someone seeing and identifying one of the vehicles that night. They were lucky they weren't seen by someone or caught on a security cam with their own private fleet driving around that night.

They have not give the defense the actual proffer. Junk filed a motion on the 2nd when it was due, for an extension. They have his proffer agreement/letter but the actual proffer is different than that.

The state probably hand delivered it when they were in court. Probably on a drive at G4 last hearing. I am guessing that is what you are asking.

But since Jake's footprints were allegedly at Chris SR's house I believe when Jake was done he joined Billy and George over at Chris Sr's and helped take down all the security cameras and some type of recording device etc...

Maybe some were on their way to KR while others were on the way to UHR? Maybe they needed two vehicles so they could take the kids with them also. Maybe when they left the scenes they need to split up to hide stuff or so someone could get back to the house quickly as a precaution . That is about all I can think of.
