You are lucky mine doesn't understand why I get so emotional. I stay away until I hear of a case in the media but sometimes i just feel a draw to come lurk the threads and every once in a while I get drawn in. This is one of those cases. There were 2 in particular that really hit me hard and my husband did not understand. This is the 3rd one. I am really struggling to not dig deeper and put myself in a bad place mentally and emotionally. People in my real life think I am paranoid and worry to much.

My hubby is a very sensitive empathic person and prefers that I do not share what I read in WS... so I keep quiet. I know he see's this page up on my laptop, but doesn't ask because he knows that there is another victim of another demented person.

[ snip ] I'm sure the computer forensic technicians will be combing through all of Worley's computer files and e-mail accounts, but that doesn't necessarily mean they will find everything or even find a fraction of it. People switch out computers, buy new laptops, throw away old laptops, remove hard drives, and format hard drives all the time. Runaways, drug addicts, sex workers, escorts...........all of them would've been the perfect victims for Worley. I think it's safe to say that he used internet technology as well, and may have used it even more than stalking and grabbing unsuspecting locals. We all know animals don't normally s#*#*t where they eat, and that's the big mistake Worley made when he decided to go after Sierah.

I've not yet read anything about a computer being found. Did I miss it?

It tells me there is an access fee.

Ok. Let me see if I can save the document and post for yall. There is a fee, but the first $10 or something a month is waived. Since I already "paid" for it, let me get the document.

Assuming he was a long haul truck driver and had a Cdl...... As a Cdl driver you are required to keep a log of dates, hours, locations. They are usually just notebooks but I'm wondering if any of that could be found.

A man accused of abducting and killing a college student riding her bicycle chased a pair of boys on their bikes two years ago because he thought they looked suspicious, according to sheriff's records released Friday.

An incident report shows James Worley called a dispatcher to report the boys outside his rural farmhouse and said he was going to chase them. He later told a deputy that he briefly followed the pair about 300 yards to a neighbor's house because he'd been worried about break-ins.

The neighbor said she knew the boys and they got scared when Worley started yelling. No charges came from the incident in June 2014.

A review of records on sheriff's runs to his home shows he called the department seven times since the beginning of 2014, reporting suspicious activity and other minor incidents — once saying he saw three red lights in a triangle pattern in the sky.

He complained in November about damage from a township snowplow and called deputies last July about a dispute with his brother, who was living in a trailer on the property.

bbm - maybe at those times he had someone hidden in his torture room and was scared someone would see or hear something if they came too close.

We know this from almost every case---- we are better with looking at details than the media is. So, we need to find the 150 pages that have been released, in order to get the accurate story of this guy and what was found. Has anyone checked pacer? There are a couple of people here that are really good at finding documents. Someone found them in Diana Alvarez's case. Of no one is able, I will look back to see if that person can help us. It is definitely our next step in unraveling this monster.

Pacer won't have the documents for a state case. Federal cases only and not all evidentiary documents are on Pacer.

Someone local could get the docs at the courthouse, scan them and post them. It's probably feasible to get them from a distance. There is usually a copy cost involved.

Or media that has them may put the full docs online sometime after a respectable amount of time has passed, considering the flack they have taken. Danged if they do. Danged if they don't.

Media may post them when this story really breaks open, as I think it is going to. Possibly in the next day or two.

Or the FBI may make some of the docs and other information available if they are seeking help from the public in the future.

Ok. This is not my thing- converting things to other things, so hopefully you can see it. I found it on pacer. I am sure there is plenty more there, but I haven't found it yet.

Are you sure that's correct? I have followed many cases where we got the documents and I am almost positive they were not federal. Once documents are released, they are released. It might be hard finding them, but someone is usually able to. Certainly in Beverly Carter and in Diana Alvarez's case, we had documents before I ever saw the full documents released anywhere else.

EFIT--- it might not be on pacer, but our people usually find them!!!

Hoping this is okay to link -- I mainly include it because of the beautiful picture in the article.

Six month retention requirement for logs.

https://www.fmcsa.dot.gov/regulations/title49/section/395.8

Under his own authority, he would have been required to retain them for that long. Possible that he may have kept them around.

Paper logs are notoriously fudged, but they can be a good indicator of the location of Point A and Point B starts and finishes. Not so solid as to the times written down.

Doubtful that a small operator would have used an electronic on-board recording form of log.

Fuel purchase records are a good way to pinpoint exact location and times.

If there are any additional victims, I think it's safe to say that all of his banking records will be examined.

I can see it - but I don't know what I'm looking at? What happened in 1998 to 2000?

Thank you for digging around there! :)

Positive about Pacer. I've used it extensively.

RSBM - I needed that last night, instead I just sat and :tears:

I think I bury myself in the pain of others, because it feels heavier than my own. Sometimes it's just all too much, and not having DH here.......

Last night I questioned why I still do it, but here I am again this morning!

We're here because we want to make a difference, we see the wrong, we feel the pain and we want to help make it better. Sleuthing is our way of trying to do that.

Oh, sweet and tenderhearted boo. You always tug at my heartstrings and make me think. Here's a big hug from me  and there are many more for you in Sleuthland, you can be sure of that! Yes, that's why so many of us cheer and scream and cry. Justice can be so fragile at times, it seems, and because we're human, we so often ask, "WHY, WHY, WHY?"

And sometimes Justice is like a drink of cool, cool water. We'll just have to keep at it.

:daisy:

Here is the full report, in case someone is interested. It at least has dates and stuff.
