Tulsa police seek possibly missing infant early Tuesday
Police were investigating claims early Tuesday of a 2-month-old girl going missing after a vehicle was reportedly stolen from an east Tulsa apartment complex.

Officers responded to reports of a stolen car near 27th Street and Mingo Road on Monday evening and spoke with the caller, who told them her Chevy Camaro was taken without her permission from the Sierra Pointe Apartments, 1433 S. 107th E. Ave., around 3 p.m.

RIGHT???!!! What in that Actual H??!!! As a local, this type of reporting happens daily across every single media outlet available in the region. It's so damn embarrassing!!!!:facepalm: I really hope this baby isn't in danger because no one would take this seriously!!!:gaah:
 
Heroin dealer...Oh my. I sure hope this baby is okay now and when she comes home :(
 
Good grief! What a mess! If the story is true then hopefully the baby will be dropped off somewhere soon. But IMO I don't believe a word of it.

So wait, unnamed woman #1 was watching the 2 month old unnamed infant, who is the alleged child of Ray [last name not known], neighborhood heroin dealer. Unnamed woman #1 claims unnamed prostitute friend took off in the car with unnamed infant?

Wait...is LS the name of the baby?
 
yes, I guess we at least know the baby's name. One article referred to the baby as that of unnamed woman #1 and one articles says she was just watching LS for Ray the dealer?

Very confusing story.

I hope that little one is alright.

The possible suspect is a woman named D'andre Wood. She has blond hair and blue eyes.

the linked article states the woman who claims to own the car described it as a 2011 Chevy Camaro with Oklahoma tag 374-HOV was babysitting Lauren when D'Andre Wood stole it with the baby inside. Link also contains description of clothing worn by Lauren at the time consisting of a pink onesie and a pink headband


 
So confusing. Who's the prostitute, who has the disabilities, are they all on Ray's heroin?
 
Forgive me but...isn't D'andre typically a male name?

I don't think the police buy the story either; "possible kidnapping" & "no amber alert until police confirm a child is missing"
 
Does LE even know if the child exists at all? This is one of the weirdest ones I've read in a while, I think.

It reminds me of that case a few years ago where a woman invented a fake kid and reported him missing because she hadn't told her boyfriend she had miscarried. The kid's name was supposedly Riley Buchness, I think.
