"OKLAHOMA CITY – Roxanne Randall, mother of Lincoln Lewis who was murdered by Randall’s then-boyfriend, reached out to News 4 to talk about her 2 year nightmare....

Randall sent KFOR a statement this afternoon, describing her ordeal....

Franklin’s jury recommended life without parole for murder in the first degree and solicitation of murder for trying to get Randall killed while he was in jail. Formal sentencing is set for October 19."

A dentist in the US has been convicted of murdering his girlfriend’s 19-month-old son.

Last week, jurors in Oklahoma County District Court found the 37-year-old man guilty of first degree murder.

At the time, the married father of four was in a relationship with the victim’s mother Roxanne Randall.

Franklin was also found guilty of soliciting the help of fellow jail inmates to kill Ms Randall so she couldn’t testify against him.

Jurors chose life in prison without parole and Franklin showed no emotion as the verdict was read out.

He is due to be sentenced on October 19.

Judge upholds life sentence for Tulsa dentist convicted of murdering toddler

OCTOBER 19, 2018

"... Franklin was found guilty of first-degree murder and solicitation in a plot to kill Randall.

The jury recommended that Franklin serve life without the possibility of parole.

“The jury has heard this evidence. The evidence, in our opinion, was overwhelming of his guilt. It’s hard to fathom a man who could do what he did to this little baby and then coldly, calculatedly plan to solicit the murder of this child’s mother,” Oklahoma County Assistant District Attorney Gayland Gieger said.

On Friday, an Oklahoma County judge upheld the jury's sentencing recommendations.

Franklin will serve life in prison on both counts, and those sentences will be served consecutively. He was also ordered to pay just under $13,000 in restitution."

I just smh at Franklin's wife. He really must be a master manipulator! He's got her believing his words instead of her own eyes. I understand that he just destroyed her whole world and his family, but she's got to get it together and move on with her little girls.

A Grieving Mother Of A Murdered Baby Doesn't Feel Safe (with clip)

"An Oklahoma dentist has been put away for life, yet he's managed to keep his lone survivor looking over her shoulder....
That paired with his jailhouse attempt to have her killed, Randall fears she will never be safe. She pleaded with the court to send Franklin to a maximum security facility.

"With all of these things he did while incarcerated...it kinda led me to believe that would be a one way ticket to a maximum security facility," said Randall.

Instead, Franklin is living out his days at Joseph Harp Correctional, a medium security facility.

"I thought for sure he would be under lock and key... because given the chance with the outside world he has proven that he will manipulate… murder…and do anything. He is a danger to me," she cried.

"She is very frightened of this man and she has every right to be," Jessica Brown with the Department of Corrections says she understands Randall's concern.

Brown says Franklin was assessed as all inmates are, by the severity of the crime, prior violence in prison, escape history, criminal history and age, and medium isn't a mistake.

"He actually qualified for minimum but because of the severity of his crimes we put him in medium," explained Brown...

"As long as he is alive I don't think I will be safe," said Randall.

She is sharing Lincoln's story with the hope of helping others. Randall says she has since learned the more obscure warning signs for domestic violence.
