The Multnomah County Sheriff's Office says local residents have been extremely generous in donating food and supplies to search teams looking for a 7-year-old Portland boy. In fact, the sheriff's office has all it needs.
Lt. Mary Lindstrand said Saturday the sheriff is asking people to hold back further donations of supplies and food, pending further notice.
Kyron Horman went missing June 4 after attending a science fair at his Portland elementary school. More than 200 people have been looking for him, focusing on an area within a two-mile radius of the school.
Financial donations are still being accepted in Horman's name at the Bank of America.
