Peru - Stephany Flores, 21, murdered in Lima hotel room, 30 May 2010 #8

According to the complaint filed with the U.S. Attorney in Birmingham, Alabama, money was wired or transfered from a bank in Alabama to a bank in the Netherlands on May 10. He did not have to be in the Netherlands to receive it.
Mark Fuhrman has stated that Joran was in Aruba until May 13th, when he left and supposedly went first to Colombia and then on to Peru on May 14th.

Thanks...the dates are so frustrating...as is the cause of death. Joran says it was a karate chop...but didn't the ME say it was blunt force trauma to the back of the head...also something about hitting a bedpost (though I don't know if there WAS a bedpost!)? I'm curious to know if death as the result of a broken neck would be instantaneous (sorry)...or was there time for Joran to call for help. I wish we had more details.

He was not in a location we could pick him up.
They did not have an indictment.
And if they had gotten one, it is not a crime that you can be extradited for.
Aruba would have had nothing to compel them to send him to us.

I think the plan was to lure him somewhere for additional funds where we do have the legal ability to grab him.

He was trying to make it sound quick and "unintentional".

I hit her, I was mad, but I didn't mean to kill her (my karate chop powers are awe inspiring) versus I beat her head against the frame of the bed until she was dead.

It was reported that they didn't have sufficient evidence to arrest Joran. Now remember, Joran left Aruba on May 13th after receiving $10,000.00 in cash on May 10th with about 10 FBI agents within the area.

Somewhere between May 10 and 13th or 14th, the $15,000.00 was wired to a bank in Amsterdam.

Remember, no one can extort money from you unless you agree to it! :banghead:

Following up on the tip I reported her last week that John Q. Kelly was in Aruba twice in May, sources have now confirmed to me that it was John Q. Kelly, the Holloway family attorney who set up the sting operation on May 10.

Here is how it unfolded:

Sources confirm that the plan started in early April. Kelly was engaged in email traffic back and forth with Joran van der Sloot for some time prior to Easter Sunday. Kelly traveled to Aruba on or about Easter, met with van der Sloot and began to set the stage.

Joran's "confession" fits the manslaughter for backlash sentence in Peru - which "could be below five years."

Personally, I believe Joran is incapable of telling the truth.

He murdered this sweet Stephany and we will never know the truth about it.

Peru has handled this case well, so far. Keep it up, Peru.

Shame on Aruba and his real life, living "Godfather" who made sure, along with his father, that Joran was never prosecuted in Aruba. IDK his name, but we should find it - and he should have to answer as to why Joran was never charge in NH's disappearance.
Evidently, he was the "powers that be" at that time.
If "Godfather" and Aruba had done their part 5 years ago - we would not be here today and Stephany would still be with us.

Does anyone have any info about witnesses? If there was an argument there had to be some kind of noise. It sounds like there was a struggle. I feel we won't know the evidence for quite a while, but maybe the media will be able to get them to release some pertinent information.

The ME stated broken neck and blunt force trauma to the back of the head--which trauma causes intracranial bleeding. The ME suggested it was possible that it was the bedpost or the tennis racquet. Yes, you can die instantly from a broken neck--but not every broken neck results in death. Some result in paralysis (think Christopher Reeves).

Per Mark Fuhrman (no link because I heard it), the ME said the trauma to the back of the head could not result from a fall or accident--it was caused by a "driving force" to the back of the head.
