Well, once again Jodi defies the norm of even a psychopath. :biggrin: I'm still a bit stunned that she chose not to allocute. She's obviously banking on becoming a legal precedent to ensure a successful appeal.

Back to reality...in my 25+ years of following true crime, I don't think I have ever seen anyone as narcissistic as she is. It's just gobsmacking people like her actually exist in our world.

I don't think JA would have listened to a different mitigation specialist, but having MDLR reinforce and encourage her delusions didn't help. MDLR really should be fired.

I'm still shaking my head at Ms Arias yesterday. I'll probably catch flack but it bears saying:
the chick has some serious brass ones.

She is willing to play the role of martyr rather than admit she bears any real responsibility. She not only upped the ante by refusing to follow CO orders. She demands privacy or else. Brass ones! She also is a case study, she found a way to martyr herself to appease those who send her money and need a conspiracy to make their eyes glow. You have to give her that. Brass ones. The SS Defense is going down and she's going to Captain it to the end. I wonder how her defense team feels about Saint Jodi, the martyr. I would hope they tried to get her to at least speak but she drew a line and she's standing on it.

Today the end starts. Will Ms Wilmont plead for Jodi's life or throw cow patties at Travis.
Will Mr Martinez speak today or will motions appear? I bet the Judge is looking forward to washing her hands of this. She did do the best she could all things considered.

I just can't help but think she did this because she has some kind of plan. She truly believes she is going to have a mistrial and also believes she is going to get out some day.

wow, what a long road to justice for travis that we have been on..not just us, but the friends and family of travis to..

1 thing that sticks in my mind, that
Jodie has been already found guilty...that cannot, will not change, jmo

and yes, I do wish to see the dp handed down to Jodi..she deserves to be a in a little cell, solitare, day by day, week by week, month by month... year by year...I truly think she deserves death...mo

There isn't as much "brass" about her as there is "cracked". I think she genuinely believes this conviction will be overturned. This is in no small way due to her merry band of wack-a-doodles who follow her around endlessly spewing ego inflating BS about what a precious little snowflake she is.

If she gets the DP, and I think there is a very good chance she will, it will be because of her "fans".

Gives new meaning to loving someone to death.
