GUILTY SC - Shooting reported at Townville Elementary, Jacob Hall, 6, killed, Sept 2016

Teen gunman arrested after shooting two six-year-old students and a female teacher at an elementary school after his father was found dead

A teen gunman has been arrested after opening fire at Townville Elementary School in South Carolina on Wednesday

Officials say the gunman - whose name has not been revealed since he's a minor - shot two six-year-old students and a female teacher around 1:45pm

Before the shooting, the shooter's father, 47-year-old Jeffrey Osborne, was found dead at a home just three miles away

It's unclear how the elder Osborn died

The two students were life-flighted to the hospital, while the teacher was taken by ambulance

One of the students is in critical condition while the other student and teacher are in good condition

A student who spoke with WSPA says the shooter jumped over the school fence, fired several shots into the air and yelled 'I hate my life'

Gosh I dont know if I wanna read this, but I guess I need to know?

The shooter's name hasn't been released because he is a minor. Any minor capable of committing this type of crime should be considered an adult and the name should be released. <modsnip>

I don't know how old he will be because young killers like this are becoming younger and younger these days but if he is 14,15,16... I imagine when he is brought to court the Prosecutor will ask the Judge to transfer it to adult court as it should be.

Why in the world would he want to shoot small little children? So senseless and to shoot the teacher too and then kill his own father before going on his crime spree. If he was mad at the world (which he probably created) then why not just off himself instead of doing this? I have never understood why anyone wants to take their problems out on others in such heinous violent ways.

"Suspect in elementary school shooting had been expelled for bringing hatchet to school"

Oh my gosh, that gives me the creeps. Sounds like he may have been a fledgling psychopath in the making. Who in the heck would even have the nerve to bring a hatchet to school when even little children with Tweety Bird keychains have been expelled for bringing what the school perceived as a weapon? Just the thought of what tremendous damage a hatchet can do to a human being gives me the shivers. I am so glad they found it. They probably saved others from being attacked. There is no logical reason for any student to ever bring a hatchet (foreboding weapon) to school. He had to be contemplating hurting others even then.

So once again, another youth takes out his own bad behavior problems on totally innocent others. I guess he was ticked off when they took the hatchet away, expelling him and he came back to get revenge. Ugggh.

I'm wondering if there is a mother in the picture. Only saw mention of the dad who was killed.
