Thank you so much for your kind thoughts and for those who wrote me privately. I had my meltdown last night, late. Baby Bernina had a necropsy and apparently had contracted Equine Herpes Virus 1 in utero, even though the mare had been vaccinated every 3 months per protocol. She never stood a chance. This happens in .05% of pregnant mares. .05%. It is so very rare. I had bred Olympic horse bloodlines and she was perfectly formed. The EHV1 affected her lungs in utero and the mare was obviously exposed to another horse that was shedding the virus at some point. I am griefstricken still, but putting one foot before the other today.

If you all remember anxiously waiting for the giraffe to foal this summer? And the disappointment when the baby was born dead? It is like that, except it happened to me. Thank you all for your multitude of kindnesses. I will never forget...Xo

It is rough on mom horse too as they know what happened and grieve as well.

Det Perry Smith was ordered to court yesterday at 12:30 for his interview with Nirmi and the Judge. So they took care of that while court was dark for the day, maybehewill testify toda.

On the State of AZ vs Arias FB page, someone showed the court document that said defense hiring new investigator and the person wondered if this is what caused the OMG moment by Wilmott. Did something happen to Dorian Bond?

How devastating for you. I'm sorry for her loss. The silver lining in this is now you can rest assured that you did all you could. Sometimes things happen that we can't prevent, no matter how hard we try. My hope and prayer for you is that your heart heals and you try again with her and succeed. :grouphug:

Likely she said something to MDLR? Anyway...it was outside of court and sounds like a civil matter to me. Or maybe the person filing the complaint could get a stiff upper lip and not take it personally so the trial could continue. But no......the babies have to whine. This will take up the court day. Anything to stall.

That ol' Crazy Train that's the CMJA trial just jumped the tracks...........again.

Someone needs to suck it up and get a thicker skin. Racial slurs have been thrown all over the place during this trial and as you said, this particular incident was outside the court. If it just happens to be MDLR, she's been baiting people with her tweets.
What kind of "professional" does that?

Um.........I'm going to be gone at some point today, trying to coordinate a panel delivery and do a "walk in" at the docs for my stoopid foot. It's either cracked or busted, this totally sucks.

So giving you guys far warning that at some point, I'm going to be absent.

While I'm sure the 'racial harassment' will turn out to be something ridiculous, I wonder if they realize that referring to someone as "cane lady" could be considered a form of harassment, or does the defense label all physically challenged people? (was there a 'crutch guy", 'wheelchair-woman", or a "glasses-man", too? ridiculous, but no less impossible).
I guess the wording could be the Tweeters', but probably accurate, to identify a private citizen who could have been outside the courtroom - I don't think they could use an individual's name, could they? I hope not... especially in something likely ridiculous...
Am I the only one thinking the jury might have been asked if they saw the person? I really hope the jury was not 'kept after class' for nonsense, and would it even be a matter for the court? Wouldn't it be something the defense should notify court security about, if it happened...(which IMO, it didn't)?
But perhaps JSS took the opportunity to remind the "defense team" to turn off their cell phone ringtones during trial by jury - especially when their phones ring multiple days during actual witness testimony, in open court? Aren't they supposed to have phone service off anyway, only internet services, like everyone else? Ridiculous... (I know I'm repeating myself, but ugh...really?)! JMO, IMO, MOO, and all that.
