Sievers Sidebar #5

Hello sherribear, You had a horrible experience and I hope the authorities have dealt with it to your benefit. As a former patient of Dr. Sievers, can you share some of your experiences with her and tell us a bit about the office routine. Thanks.

Sorry for the late response, I was on vacation! First of all, I am in the Healthcare field and I have managed several group medical practices, so my take on her office is from that point of view. I remember thinking to myself several times that I could do a lot to spiff up their practice. It was a small office and the receptionist was a male (Not that there was anything wrong with that--but there was always something every appointment that I had to remind him of or correct him on) Then I found out it was the PA's husband. Nice guy--just not the role for him. The office Manager was Dr. Siever's husband Mark and I saw him twice in the 5 years that I was her patient. Which was a really good thing because he presented himself in a very poor fashion. He appeared to be arrogant and sloppy. If you had any questions on your bill or account information you had to call him. He would never return your call....at least that was my experience. The office was not a well run machine....

As far as Dr. Sievers is concerned: She was top notch and that is why I continued going there. She had a passion for her patients and it was evident when you met with her. She always took time with me and wanted to help me get to the bottom of every issue. She had an excellent referral system with other doctors and when I had to go in for a procedure she got me in with a specialist in that field within a week. She had a great sense of humor. I always left her with a Feel Good feeling. If she would have had good office management and different systems in place she would have gone FAR in her practice.

She had pictures of her children all over the office. She spoke of them often and you could "feel the love". She had recently obtained her Masters in Womens Anti-Aging and she was branching out to help women in this regard. She helped me
in so many ways and I miss her terribly. I cannot believe this whole nightmare and I cannot believe how long it is going on with no trial in sight!

Thanks so much for answering my question sherribear. Appreciate reading an insider's view of TS' practice and staff. The delays in this case make me so angry I could spit nails.

There is a new discovery file that is now up for display on leeclerk.org for the criminal case against Mark. Many interesting items with one corrupt file being listed. My brain is still on vacation mode so I cant post it from my phone. Case mgt hearing is this Thursday!

Thanks for update!
However, using Case No 15-CF-000673 B (BEK) and/or "Sievers" wildcard search at leeclerk.org, I'm not finding any data available?? Can you please correct me here -- TIA.

Downloaded for all to view...Latest Discovery for the "blue storage bin." Good news is that most of the "patient info" appears to be more accounting related such as check payments. I can see no reason why "office manager" Mark, working from home, would need confidential, patient medical records in his possession. Hope the case keeps inching forward!

9 pages of witnesses for possible testimony at the trial was submitted. I am not posting the document here because I feel they deserve privacy with out their names being blasted everywhere. A lot of familiar names and some new ones. They have not updated what is next in the case. Hoping we are closer heading to a trial!

Thank you for this!

Sad day to think it has been 3 years and still no trials...

WINK news is set up in front of the house and going door to door trying to get neighbor interviews. Seeing this home slowly fall apart over the past few years has been a constant reminder of the tragedy that took place inside. I pray that the girls have found peace and happiness in their lives and that they are out of this state.

Thanks to those of you that post all of the updates! It's so nice to jump on Websleuths quickly and get caught up on the SLOW moving case.

The girls are in CT according to the court docs they were served re the foreclosure case. I have been praying for TS's family and all the ppl in the local area that are fighting for justice like we are on here in WS.

Mark lost a weight. Its nice to see the same GAL spokesperson in the courtroom....

Mark Sievers in court for emergency hearing

"Judge Robert Branning appeared hesitant to close the court proceedings because it wasn't a termination of parental rights proceeding, but a termination of parental rights is underway. Under Florida Statute, those hearings are closed to the public."

I guess not having gourmet food can do that to one’s waistline.
