Just so speculation at this point. I believe we'll see her after the summer holidays.

Let’s hope the rumor mill and impatient gawkers don’t crank up.

This empty calendar is not surprising considering how far in advanced things must be planned for RF, but more realistically — as any of you know who have witnessed a friend or loved one going through chemo / radiation, there can be lots of complications and side effects, and one doesn’t look or feel their best. It could take more than six months or a year to feel presentable again. Kate deserves privacy and healing time.

May God bless Princess Catherine, The King, and the Royal Family. Keep them safe. Amen.

So true. Even if you're receiving preventive treatment, its still the same treatment. Just as strong with the same side effects, which can be debilitating and fatiguing. If its a several cycles of chemo and radiation, it can take several months to recover, even though you're cancer free.
 
The Princess of Wales, who is expected to return to official duties only when given the all-clear by doctors after her cancer treatment, will not be taking the salute at the Colonel’s Review, the traditional rehearsal on June 8 for Trooping the Colour, Buckingham Palace says.

Lieutenant General James Bucknall, the former commander of the Allied Rapid Reaction Corps, will take the salute at the Colonel’s Review.

Bearing the honorary rank of Col. in Chief of the Irish Guards, Kate, 42, wife of the heir to the throne, Prince William, would normally take part of the Colonel's Review, a ceremonial military event which takes place in London on June 8, featuring soldiers marching in scarlet coats and bearskin fur hats accompanied to music played by military bands.

The princess has not been seen in public since she revealed she had cancer in a video earlier this year. Kate said that she was undergoing “a course of preventative chemotherapy” on the advice of her medical team...

Just to clarify , she would not normally do this, it was only this year as the Irish Guards were doing the Trooping the Colour.

It is also not the actual Trooping the colour , but I imagine she will not be attending.

Didn't she replace Prince Andrew in this role??

since the Duke of York was stripped of his military titles following the fallout over sexual assault allegations, claims he made no admission of liability for and has always denied.

The role now held by the Princess of Wales
was previously held by her husband."

I mean, reads as if she replaced her husband ;)

But yes, William took over from Andrew I believe and then after becoming Prince of Wales, he took over another Guard. I think.

Camilla took over as Col of the Grenadier Guards, not Catherine. Catherine took over the role of Col of the Irish Guards.
