I appreciate WSers on this thread for showing self-control and for avoiding going down the political path with this topic.
The Times had interviewed several dozen people over the past week in an attempt to corroborate her story, and could find no one with firsthand knowledge. Ms. Ramirez herself contacted former Yale classmates asking if they recalled the incident and told some of them that she could not be certain Mr. Kavanaugh was the one who exposed himself.

Gotta say, I don't blame the opposition for trying because, due to judicial appointments, our country really is going to be fundamentally changed over the next generation.
And I love it
No it's not a criminal trial. It's a political trial. JMO
Fox interview really has backfired as those who knew Kavanaugh during that time say he was heavy "belligerent" drinker. Also Steve Kantrowitz on Twitter said Kavanaugh as a freshman at Yale told him then that he was not a virgin.
Now he is really coming across as a liar which many suspected. We don't need a liar and accused sex predator on Supreme Court to take us back 100 years by taking away women's rights. Trump has told over 5000 lies while in office and was accused by almost 20 women of sexual assault--he would defend such a person.

This is horrible. I can relate. I was 13. I went to the bathroom in a house where I was invited to watch tv and eat popcorn. When I came out I was shoved against the wall and pushed into a bedroom. I got away only because I kicked and bit and fought. I cannot tell you the day. I cannot tell you the address. I CAN tell you the name of the person and the year and that it was summer. He is dead now. I never talked about it for fear of shame and blame.
The senate judiciary is not equipped to deal with this. Why didn't they just agree to bring in the FBI and let them sort it out? It's what they do. It would have benefitted all parties.
It's turning into a blood bath.
