Regal: Fashion designer Misha Nonoo, pictured, has shared the first images of herself wearing the lace and silk organza dress she created for her nuptials to Mikey Hess
The 31-year-old New York City-based designer revealed close-up images of the impeccably hand-embroidered gown she wore to say 'I Do'...

Designer Misha Nonoo may have found creating her own wedding dress to be a 'lengthy' and 'challenging' process, but newly-released images of stunning bride wearing the gown prove that any stress was worth it all along.

Hmmm...?
Nah, I don't like it

Revealed: Heartbreaking reason Princess Anne could not marry Andrew Parker Bowles

...“Would it be the Olympic gold medalist Richard Meade, who shared her passion for riding, or more intriguingly, the 26-year-old Andrew Parker-Bowles, not yet married to Camilla?

Anne's horseplay with Camilla's ex

“He and Anne were often seen together, but he was a Roman Catholic, and for a royal that effectively put marriage out of the question.”

Princess Anne and Andrew Parker Bowles, still friends
After her split from Andrew, Anne went on to marry Captain Mark Phillips in 1973, while Andrew of course went on to marry Camilla the same year.

While Camilla was Anglican, their wedding was a Roman Catholic ceremony.

o_O Well, well, well just imagine all the hearts that maybe wouldn't have been broken if only...
And how much it would've changed the course of history as we know it

Gettin' jiggy wit it

Prince Harry and Meghan sue the Mail and its parent company over publication of a private letter which they edited to manipulate the reader...

Harry’s online statement:

Statement by His Royal Highness
Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex

01 OCTOBER 2019
As a couple, we believe in media freedom and objective, truthful reporting. We regard it as a cornerstone of democracy and in the current state of the world – on every level – we have never needed responsible media more.

Unfortunately, my wife has become one of the latest victims of a British tabloid press that wages campaigns against individuals with no thought to the consequences – a ruthless campaign that has escalated over the past year, throughout her pregnancy and while raising our newborn son.

There is a human cost to this relentless propaganda, specifically when it is knowingly false and malicious, and though we have continued to put on a brave face – as so many of you can relate to – I cannot begin to describe how painful it has been. Because in today’s digital age, press fabrications are repurposed as truth across the globe. One day’s coverage is no longer tomorrow’s chip-paper.

Up to now, we have been unable to correct the continual misrepresentations - something that these select media outlets have been aware of and have therefore exploited on a daily and sometimes hourly basis.

It is for this reason we are taking legal action, a process that has been many months in the making. The positive coverage of the past week from these same publications exposes the double standards of this specific press pack that has vilified her almost daily for the past nine months; they have been able to create lie after lie at her expense simply because she has not been visible while on maternity leave. She is the same woman she was a year ago on our wedding day, just as she is the same woman you’ve seen on this Africa tour.

For these select media this is a game, and one that we have been unwilling to play from the start. I have been a silent witness to her private suffering for too long. To stand back and do nothing would be contrary to everything we believe in.

This particular legal action hinges on one incident in a long and disturbing pattern of behaviour by British tabloid media. The contents of a private letter were published unlawfully in an intentionally destructive manner to manipulate you, the reader, and further the divisive agenda of the media group in question. In addition to their unlawful publication of this private document, they purposely misled you by strategically omitting select paragraphs, specific sentences, and even singular words to mask the lies they had perpetuated for over a year.

There comes a point when the only thing to do is to stand up to this behaviour, because it destroys people and destroys lives. Put simply, it is bullying, which scares and silences people. We all know this isn’t acceptable, at any level. We won’t and can’t believe in a world where there is no accountability for this.

Though this action may not be the safe one, it is the right one. Because my deepest fear is history repeating itself. I’ve seen what happens when someone I love is commoditised to the point that they are no longer treated or seen as a real person. I lost my mother and now I watch my wife falling victim to the same powerful forces.

We thank you, the public, for your continued support. It is hugely appreciated. Although it may not seem like it, we really need it.

The lawsuit:

“We have initiated legal proceedings against the Mail on Sunday, and its parent company Associated Newspapers, over the intrusive and unlawful publication of a private letter written by the Duchess of Sussex, which is part of a campaign by this media group to publish false and deliberately derogatory stories about her, as well as her husband. Given the refusal of Associated Newspapers to resolve this issue satisfactorily, we have issued proceedings to redress this breach of privacy, infringement of copyright and the aforementioned media agenda”.

The case is being privately funded by The Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Pending a Court ruling, proceeds from any damages will be donated to an anti-bullying charity.

I am confused! As I recall, this trip to Africa was suppose to be as a punishment to get Harry and Meghan out of the Royals hair for all the times they do their own thing. It was to be for an extended time also.

This little 10 day or two week trip has been nothing but a publicity trip! It does not seem to me to be any type of punishment. Even though the Queen requested no royal greetings or big welcoming be given to them, they have made the news quite often, if not daily.

What happened to the long extended stay as in months?

Are they complaining that not it shouldn't have been published but also not enough of it was published? When you send a letter it becomes the property of the person you send it to, who may sell it for publication if they wish. Lots of private correspondence is sold, think of all of Diana's private letter that have been sold and reproduced in the papers before auction

The only reason we knew of the letter was because her friends told us about its existence which caused Thomas Markle to sell it. Her friends essentially created the market for this letter.

The timing of this seems odd and will only lead to Thomas Markle and the rest of the family becoming involved in all this again. They've been doing brilliantly this tour, why not wait until it was over and they were back in the UK to do this or why did they not do it straight after the letter was published?

More detailed info about their legal arguments below, the copyright one is the only one that could be a goer IMHO, GDPR generally doesn't apply to the press and misuse of private information wouldn't really be applicable either I think. The copyright is the only argument that I can see succeeding but given that they only published a few excerpts and the Sussex's are alleging may have altered them it could come down to fair use. They should really also be suing Thomas Markle for all this too

Meghan Markle sues Mail on Sunday for publishing letter to her father

Meghan Markle, duchess of Sussex has take the unusual decision to sue the publisher of the Mail on Sunday after the newspaper published a handwritten letter she had sent to her estranged father.

Ms Markle has started proceedings in the UK high court over the misuse of private information, infringement of copyright and breach of GDPR regulations.

Ms Markle and her husband, prince Harry, who are on a tour in South Africa, have employed the libel lawyers Schillings using private funds to bring the case.

The Mail on Sunday has run multiple embarrassing stories involving the duchess’s father, Thomas Markle, including staged paparazzi photographs of him visiting an internet cafe to read about his daughter’s engagement to the prince.

However, the royals have limited ability to stop the publication of such stories, prompting the decision to focus on the publication of Ms Markle’s letter to her father.

The Guardian reported this year that the Mail on Sunday was being threatened with legal action because the authors of letters retain ownership of the copyright even after the physical correspondence is in the possession of another individual.

A legal spokesperson for Schillings said: “We have initiated legal proceedings against the Mail on Sunday, and its parent company Associated Newspapers, over the intrusive and unlawful publication of a private letter written by the Duchess of Sussex, which is part of a campaign by this media group to publish false and deliberately derogatory stories about her, as well as her husband.

Prince Harry launched an extraordinary attack on the British media today as he accused the press of 'bullying' and 'relentless propaganda'.

In a lengthy personal statement on his and Meghan's official website, Harry referenced Princess Diana and said his 'deepest fear' was his 'wife falling victim to the same powerful forces' that his mother faced.

In the statement he said: 'Unfortunately, my wife has become one of the latest victims of a British tabloid press that wages campaigns against individuals with no thought to the consequences – a ruthless campaign that has escalated over the past year, throughout her pregnancy and while raising our newborn son.

Prince Harry launches emotional attack on British press | Daily Mail Online

Wow Daily Mail online has stopped the comment section on this article. I don’t know how the lawsuit will affect the press it could help or backfire on them and make things worse.
