I was able to watch Blue Chip Marketing: Gilgo Beach Part 7. Commissioner Richard Dormer was the guest. The psychological profile of Unsub was most interesting to me. I disagree with the motive being sexual sadism though. I firmly believe Unsub is responsible for the murders of the Gilgo Beach 4 and Asian Male.

I believe the motive in the Asian Male murder was uncontrollable rage. Unsub was expecting a female, and when he discovered that it was a male he became explosively enraged and literally beat Asian Male to death.

The Gilgo Beach 4 motive to me was more about vengeance than sexual sadism. I believe Unsub has been traumatically hurt, in a mental way, by one or more women, and the Gilgo Beach 4 share both physical and personality characteristics with these women, at least in Unsubs mind they do. I think that he projects those vengeful feelings upon these women, and when he murders them he is acting out a fantasy of killing the woman or women who he feels he has been hurt by. Unsub believes that any women who have hurt him are “*advertiser censored*”, whether or not in actuality they are prostitutes.

I’ve posted this before but will reiterate what I think is Unsubs psychological profile:

My psychological profile of Unsub partially based on the FBI profile:

a. He is a white male in his mid-30s to mid-40s.

b. He is financially secure.

c. He lives or used to live on or near Ocean Parkway on the South Shore of Long Island

d. He may have had a domineering mother.

e. He is very charming and attractive to women of the victims age group.

f. He has an explosive temper and a history of violent episodes.

g. He may suffer from limerence and have a history of heartbreaking relationships with women.

h. He has a history of drug abuse.

i. He may have relatives or close friends who are in law enforcement.

j. He was familiar to Megan Waterman and Amber Lynn Costello prior to the night he murdered them.

Also, peaches has not been linked to manorville to my knowledge. You keep linking JT and peaches to manorville. peaches torso was found in hempstead state park in nassau county in 1997 The manorville two are a jane doe#6 found in nov. 2000 and Jessica in summer 2003. They all the had partial remains found on ocean parkway in 2010-2011. It's a lot to keep up with I know.

Also keep in mind they didn't tell us the mother and child found on the parkway was peaches until last year, so "peaches" is not mentioned in any of those videos that I recall.

If anyone can ascertain the times or approximate times of the phone calls from Unsub to Amber Lynn Costello on the night of her disappearance, using this idea we could create a perimeter of the possible location of where Unsub lived at that time.

“This might be a long shot, but worth thinking about.

According to Dave Schaller, Amber received multiple calls on the day she disappeared. The last call came at 10:30 and she walked out "moments later".

So assume for a second that the serial killer called from his cell phone and said "I'm down the block - come meet me".

Now, assume for a second that the serial killer's previous call was made from his home. If we knew exactly what time the second-to-last call from Amber's phone, we could:

- estimate the SK's travel time taking into account the time it takes to put shoes on, get out to his car, traffic conditions at 10PM that night, local speed limits, highway vs. local miles, etc.
- determine the distance traveled by the SK (the radius)
- plot the circumference on a map, with the center being Amber's house on America Ave. in West Babylon

The serial killer should live somewhere on the perimeter of the circle, assuming our assumption was correct. Probably the closer the time period between the last call and the call just prior, the more accurate this method would be.

This is another great idea from a post by a member called inspctrgadget in the thread “Victim - Amber Lynn Costello”. However, since so much time has past it may not be practical anymore.

“Here's the basic premise....

Before the news of a serial killer on Long Island made national headlines in December 2010, most of the victim articles available on the Internet were from small or local news outlets. Let's assume that the serial killer periodically Googled the names of his victims to check-up on the status of their investigation. I assume he had their drivers license or other ID, so he likely had their real names.

I think we could identify the serial killer by: (1) cross-referencing server logs of certain websites that the serial killer visited prior to the case making national headlines; and/or (2) given a database of these IP addresses, we could write a simple PHP script to geolocate any IP addresses from Long Island using a IP geolocation service like Geobytes.com.

My belief is that we would find very few, if any, visits from a Long Island IP address at a website like the Scarborough Leader or Bangor Daily News. Also, the likelihood that someone from Long Island visited more than one of these pages within a short time frame after their disappearance is very low.

In order to identify the universe of potential websites that our serial killer may have visited, I carefully used the Google "daterange" function.

For example, if you wanted to search articles crawled by Google within a month of Melissa Barthelemy's disappearance, you would type into Google the following:

"Melissa Barthelemy" daterange:2455022-2455053

Google's daterange function uses Julian dates, so you'll need a converter to change calendar dates to Julian dates:

Also, some of the results will appear more current (after December 2010). These you can eliminate since they incorrectly get caught up in the search results.

I did this for Maureen, Melissa and Megan. I did not do this for Amber since nobody reported her missing. There were no results for Maureen, so all we have to work with are Melissa and Megan.

Here we go... Remember, these are web articles that only appear prior to anyone knowing about a serial killer on Long Island...

Did they? Fox News pretty much needs to be fact-checked on everything they report, so lets consider this.

The news article referenced by Fox News that I was able to identify was the WIVB Buffalo article dated September 11th, 2009 that reported:

"Lynn has reason to be hopeful her daughter will be found. There has been some cell phone activity police have asked her not to discuss."

This article also used the words "New York City Police Department" and "Homeland Security".

The article also stated: "the family is very comfortable that they are working the case very diligently now."

If I were the serial killer and read this article, I'd probably be worried to.

Is this enough to belive that the serial killer saw this article? Maybe not, because:
1) the calls stopped on August 26, 2009
2) the last call stated "I killed her", presumably providing some closure both to Amanda and the SK
3) The calls came about 1X per week, starting 1 week after her disappearance
4) the WIVB article didn't come out until September 11th, 2009

So there was over 2 weeks between the last phone call and the WIVB article. So maybe the killer didn't call at the end of August or beginning of September because of some reason or another, read the article and stopped calling out of fear.

Maybe, maybe not. Who knows. Fox sucks.

I think the following server logs would be useful for an IP analysis of the URLs specified above. Obviously you would only be looking at IP addresses that accessed these pages shortly after they were published, say 3-6 months or so. A cross-check and IP geolocation study should reveal the IP address of the serial killer:

I watched several shows on youtube pertaining to GB4 and Shannan Gilbert, I caught a few minutes at the end of one of the shows and it pertained to Shannon Gilbert's laptop. The Gilbert family atty had her laptop in front of him, closed, and the story was that a copy of the hard drive had been made. Apparently there were records she kept but, conveniently, a list of clients or names was missing. Does anyone know what info was found on her laptop? And how would just one list, the most important probably be missing? I am curious. Seems to me it would be very odd that that particular document would disappear. Someone came to her apt and deleted it? If there were some very important names on said list well then next question would be who had access to her apt? Just a thought but makes sense , I believe the killer is someone important or affiliated with important people. And he certainly would not want his name on any escort's client database.

The IT Professional’s were analyzing Shannan Gilbert’s laptop. They made the determination that if they powered on the laptop the data would be lost. They made a carbon copy of the hard drive and were able to examine the data on the carbon copy. It showed that Shannan Gilbert had many email addresses registered to her, and that she did background checks on her clients. The contact list that I believe you’re referring to was determined to be stored in the iCloud, and due to the amount of time that has passed is most likely lost from that location.

I found this on youtube. It is an alleged recording of Unsubs voice. It can only be substantiated if there is in fact a recording of Unsubs voice in the calls to Amanda Barthelemy, and that the voice in the video can be compared to that recording, or if Amanda Barthelemy could actually listen to the voice in the video and make a determination.

The use of Burlap material is camouflage in the brown dense wood line. I used these Bags in the Military for a Ghillie Suit for Infantry forward observation tactics. It is easy that once the LISK placed the remains inside that they would be camo'd out of eye site.

Not that the killer was camouflaged while killing, but that he had access to a specific kind of burlap... This supports a theory that this person has a military background, when coupled with the knowledge that at least one of the GB4 remains were found with remnants of what may have been a garrote.

There is a particular vulnerability for women who allow rear entry or sexual stimulation from behind of any kind--that is, they are not able to defend against an attack of such stealth, both positionally, and due to the rare nature of the attack weapon itself. A select few elite forces would be trained in, or have knowledge of such a weapon.

The AC4 were also likely killed with crude improvised garrotes--shoelaces.

There is actually a person often mentioned on the Board who told a fellow I know how he used to enjoy rear-ending the girls and then firing a bullet into the rear of their heads. He said there was nothing like it when the body began convulsions. Did this person actually do this? I doubt it but he is certainly sick enough to mention it.

As opposed to bullets which get messy, a garrote is highly efficient in the control it allows, in its "neatness," and furthermore, I imagine it is satisfying in the way it delays death (aka gratification) for someone who seeks to prolong the experience. Might even be useful enough to knock a victim out so that one could later "curb" them as a final act of decimation.

While Director, he worked in Yaphank, which is next to Manorville. He had a house on Fire Island, where one of the body parts was linked to. He was involved in a serious car accident and was “rumored” to be abusing pain killers. It was known to local EMS that he had a habit of using prostitutes and getting rough with them, as they were picked up from his house for medical treatment. If you go on the Suffolk County website, you find no information that he was ever a County official. He had a working relationship with police due to his connections with EMS and as an ER physician. Many local EMS were saying that they guessed he was “killing” them now when the bodies turned up. I believe this was a cover up to keep it from being public that a former county official is likely a serial killer.

John Bittrolf, who has been convicted of the murders of 2 prostitutes, actually lives in Manorville near the location two sets of remains had been discovered.

You’ve brought up some excellent points. However, I’m still skeptical of the theory that Peter Hackett is the LISK.

Peter Hackett is no doubt involved in the death of Shannan Gilbert, but I believe it to more of a case of involuntary manslaughter or negligent homicide. I have posted my theory in this thread and would like to discuss it with you if you are willing.

Since some of the remains discovered on Ocean Parkway link back to Manorville, the Modus Operandi of those murders are similar and John Bittrolf’s profile contains the Modus Operandi (dismemberment), I lean toward John Bittrolf being responsible for some of the unidentified victims.

As for the Gilgo Beach 4, and Asian Male, those I attribute to Unsub. The Modus Operandi, the pattern and the time frame of the Gilgo Beach 4 are identical and separate from the rest of the victims. I theorize Asian Male would have been murdered in the same manner as the Gilgo Beach 4 had he been a female.

The one factor in the case of the Gilgo Beach 4 that steers me away from Peter Hackett being responsible is the phone calls to Amanda Barthelemy. Peter Hackett does not fit the profile of the person who made those calls. It would also be extremely risky for Peter Hackett to call Mari Gilbert if he had been the person who made those calls to Amanda Barthelemy.

Considering the circumstances and the evidence available to the public, I believe Peter Hackett is culpable in the death of Shannan Gilbert and nothing more.
