According to Texas EquuSearch, which is also working to find him, Lackey was outside to walk his dog.
Authorities say they strongly suspect foul play. They also believe that Chase may have been associating with people involved in illegal activity, leading to his disappearance.
Officials searched his apartment. His truck and all of his belongings were still there.
‘We would just really like everyone to take a look at the photos and if anyone knows anything at all, high or small. You may not think it will help, but it may be the key to bringing Chase back,’ said his father Craig Lackey.

By all accounts, investigators said, Lackey was living a normal life. He was last seen July 1 and went missing the next day from his home in the 6100 block of South Sam Houston Parkway.
According to HCSO Lt. J.D. Philpot, there may have been foul play involved, but he wouldn't release many details as to why detectives believe that.
‘I'm not going to go into specifics, but there was a few individuals that we know prior to his disappearance that he may have been associating with,’ Philpot said. ‘I don't know the length of the detail about those friendships but we have since learned that a few of those individuals were doing some illegal things.’
Investigators categorized Lackey's disappearance as suspicious because all of his belongings were left at his home, including his vehicle. His dog, however, went missing along with Lackey.

Good to see that the family seems to be opening up more. Also very happy to hear that TES is helping.
