I've seen how the cases are handled and which ones are solved. I just want this little West Texas girl to be found.

Respectfully snipped by me for space considerations: I have already emailed the chief asking that this be stepped up to find Hailey and that from what I see I do not believe she is a runaway. Also suggesting that extra help be brought in for investigative purposes. Also RSO's with one on the same street (Chestnut) be thoroughly checked out. Also how about a presser for information known/not known. Also how about putting information on their website regarding Hailey being missing and the reward money. This really, really isn't too much to ask for Hailey. I am really feeling strongly about this.

Here is what was sent to the chief:

The fact that Hailey Dunn is missing since December 27th has been brought to my attention. After reviewing what information is known about this disappearance I sincerely request that you consider the following to move this case forward. These are all suggestions for consideration and in no way are intended to downplay the work your department has and is doing:

1. Check out all RSO’s in Colorado City (one lives on Chestnut – the same street as Hailey)
2. Enlist the assistance of Texas Rangers and TES (Tim Miller)
3. Put huge banner on your website making it known that Hailey is missing and the reward money offered
4. Hailey does not from what I have seen on MySpace and Facebook appear to be the “runaway type”
5. Hailey is what I would consider a young 13 year old female meaning not into what some 13 year olds are now a days
6. Ensure polygraphs are administered to father, mother, step mother, and mother’s boyfriend
7. Hold a press conference and lay out the facts as your department knows them to be

Please give these suggestions careful consideration and they are submitted with all due respect to you and your department whom I am sure are diligently working around the clock to bring Hailey home safely.

I'm not sure if this situation calls for TES. Some of you may be more familiar with them than I am, but I always thought they came in to search particular areas of interest -- fields, swamps, etc. Since there are not specific target areas, I don't think they would know where to begin, KWIM?

I thought they just did general searches. sorry!
 
im not finding alot of press on this either. Can a local list televised and newspaper listings so we can ask them to get the word out.

I need to make it absolutely clear that all of my speculation and posting is done from my personal point of view. This online sleuthing is something my husband puts up with begrudgingly. He offered assistance as a professional courtesy, just as he would for any nearby agency. He did not like the fact that I posted even that little bit of info online. (Oopsie!):innocent:

What is done is done, and all I can do is leave any reference to his work out of it from now on. I'm still here, but I'm just a concerned citizen who may or may not be married to a handsome, smart, macho, hard working professional law enforcement officer, but if I told you, I'd have to...(you know). :truce:

Now, back to finding Hailey!

I am really shocked that Hailey is still missing. I wish we knew if she even intended to go to her friend's house, I think I read there was some doubt about that? If she was truly expected and did not show, that is scary. It's scary anyway, but possibly more likely she went off on her own with someone, for whatever reason, if that was more of an excuse for her mom as to where she would be. I know I did that and my friend would have covered for a while...but probably not this whole long week. Especially if Hailey is without a phone and no one has heard from her.

I don't know what TES would do in a case like this as I do think they need a starting point to search; are there are woods or open fields between her dad's house and friend's home, or the hotel?
 
I've read through this whole thread and I have to agree about the boyfriend. I mean he was the last one to see her. One thing that struck me was czgtz saying that it was unclear if Hailey even made it across the street. I don't know about anyone else but right then I thought something might be up with the boyfriend because to me if it's unclear if she made it across to street that seems like a red flag to me that something is up with that story. I mean I don't know. Just weird.
 
I still think it is weird, if true, that dad's girlfriend can't be sure if she saw Hailey on Monday or not?

Just finished printing out more - sadly I'm having a hard time getting the base to let me post them here. I'm going to take them outside into the towns around us.
 
OK Guys I have seen a lot of people in here say they would like to get some coverage for Haiely and I have a good way as to how we can get this going! First off most definetely contact Nancy Grace! You can email her at nancygrace@cnn.com I agree completely bomb her with emails.

Another way is through twitter. If you don't have a twitter account I urge you to get one! It's very easy to do and would take like two minutes to make one. www.twitter.com for those of you that don't know what it is.

I have found several news outlets by going through Richelle Carey's list of people that she follows. Those of you that know Richelle know she works for HLN! BOMB her @replies about Haiely but make sure you use #FindHaileyDunn for the tag in your post so we can get it in the twitter trending search which means if we get her trending it will definitely get some recognition via the main stream media and it would also get other people that don't know about her on it as well. I checked other surrounding area media and don't see anything there...I also emailed some of them with information about Hailey, when I first saw this thread...but haven't heard a peep back.

Understanding how things in this area "typically" work...I think LE or family needs to send info so it will be taken more seriously..here are the places I emailed and additional media sources for W. Texas.
