I have a hard time believing an unlocked car left in a strip center for any length of time wasn't stolen or stripped.
Or that a car plastered all over the news & in an amber alert blasted to every single cell phone, wasn’t noticed right in front of the stores in a small parking lot for 5+ days. Just seems unlikely to me. When those stores close for the night, it’s odd to see any cars left in the lot other than employees.

Surely LE has BB's cell phone by now and has documentation of all (any !) calls to DV that night she returned to the airport.

My sneaking suspicion is that she knew full well he wasn't going to be at the airport, and why
yes, go back and watch the grandmothers interview. something not right. too many excuses.... MOO

Update: Stepdad of missing girl Maleah Davis hasn’t showed up to work at PharMEDium in a week, his coworker tells me. Darion Vence was sent home because he was vomiting last week. He was officially “home with the flu” by Friday. This week he isn’t answering calls about absence.

Anyone see this?

So now he had the flu on Friday, interesting coincidence. What did he do at Pharmedium?

Amber Alert Update: Houston Police say they haven’t been able to get ahold of Darion Vence since last weekend. They tried to call him in to give a sketch description of the three Hispanic men he says abducted him. Police say he’s a person of interest in Maleah’s disappearance.

So... Darion or Derion or whatever his name is had the flu and Maleah also had the flu? Did he still have the flu when he got to the hospital or was it cured by the knock on his head? Nice one.

Thanks for posting this. I wondered about his work attendance during all this.

I can hardly see around all the red flags in front of me.

Update #5

Friday, May 3, 2019
  • DV was driving a silver 2011 Nissan Altima with TX paper tags 3092G9 to IAH with Maleah and her 2-year-old brother to pick up Maleah’s mother (“BB”), who was returning from her father's funeral in MA. [1] [2]
  • DV heard a popping noise and pulled over when a blue Chevrolet pickup w/crew cab, possibly a 2010, pulled behind him and two Hispanic males got out. One of them said Maleah looks very nice, looks very sweet. The other male hit DV on the head and he lost consciousness. [2] The Altima was allegedly stolen. [1]
  • When DV didn’t show up at the airport, BB called her mother, (“BB2”), to come and get her, but didn’t report DV and the children missing. [2]
  • DV was in and out of consciousness, but at one point he was in the back of the suspects' truck with his son and Maleah and then there were three suspects in the vehicle. [1]
  • Maleah was last seen approx 8 p.m. per the Amber Alert. [3]
  • BB did not have her house keys and spent the night with BB2 [11]
Saturday, May 4, 2019
  • BB told ABC13 they called police Sat a.m. to file a report because they were concerned they had not heard from DV, but detective clearly stated no report was filed [2].
  • BB2 explained that on Sat, they went to the PD again when nobody was contacting them and found out they had to fill out more forms, call the missing person’s unit, etc. [11]
  • 2:54 p.m. - The Nissan Altima was seen on a traffic camera near Hwy 59 & State Hwy 6 in Sugar Land. [1] [2]
  • 6 p.m. DV woke up on the side of the SW Freeway near SH 6 in Sugar Land, about 22 miles SW of Houston - near First Colony Mall. [2] His son was with him and he wandered around for four or five hours trying to summon help. [2]
  • 10 or 11 p.m. – DV and his son arrived on foot at Houston Methodist Sugar Land Hospital. DV and his son were treated for minor injuries, released, and police were called around midnight. [4] [5] From the mall to the hospital (.4 miles/10 min walk): Google Maps

  • BB was interviewed by ABC13 and said she is terrified for Maleah. [8]
  • TXEQ searched on foot and ATV near Hwy 59 & Greens Rd in NE Houston where DV said the assault/abduction took place. Tim Miller (“TM”) said, "We want to start checking every single dumpster just in case." [12] Later, crews were seen searching near First Colony Mall in Sugar Land. [14]

Tuesday, May 7, 2019
  • TXEQ searched near Hwy 59 and Greens Road, then suspended efforts there and moved to Bissonnet and Kirkwood, near the family’s home at 9850 S. Kirkwood. [15]

Not taking LE's calls, not taking Maleah's mother calls... Maybe it's time for a wellfare check on this guy. I hope he didn't run away or that he was left alone to harm himself.

Interesting because an early msm report stated he worked PT at a hotel. Later, I’ll see if article is still up.

Heavy.com says LinkedIn info has him employed by a hotel. Old info I guess.

We’re trying to look at the (surveillance) video to see when it was dropped off,” he said.

Fregia said police haven’t been able to coordinate a time to meet with Maleah’s stepfather, Darion Vence, to get a police sketch drawn up of the alleged kidnappers. He declined to say whether he was a person of interest in the investigation.

“I would like to to talk to him, but right now I’m not concerned that we haven’t,” he said.

Authorities continue to search for a blue pickup truck connected to the case.
Car connected to Maleah Davis' disappearance found; search for 4-year-old continues

So I guess DV has a full schedule? Lmbo
IMO he won’t go because 1) the three men never existed
2) he’s afraid he won’t leave PD
