Adel Abdel Bary, 52, a citizen of Egypt, and Khaled al Fawwaz, 50, a citizen of Saudi Arabia, are charged with conspiring with members of al Qaeda to kill United States nationals and to attack U.S. interests abroad. Bary is also charged with murder, conspiracy to use weapons of mass destruction, and other offenses in connection with the 1998 bombings of the U.S. Embassies in Kenya and Tanzania, which caused the deaths of 224 individuals and injured thousands more. A British expert on images of Syria believes he may have identified the precise location where the kidnapped American journalist, James Foley, was beheaded by an Isil fighter.

Eliot Higgins, a Leicester-based video and photo analyst who has previously investigated the use of chemical weapons in the Syrian Civil War, has methodically analysed the five-minute video of the beheading of the 40-year-old reporter in an attempt to pinpoint where the murder occurred.

He has concluded that Mr Foley was most likely killed in a spot in the hills south of the Syrian city Raqqa, whose precise co-ordinates he has calculated.

Trying to work out if he's holding the gun right ~ as in 'left-handed'??

Wondering about that also, because in the above l Jinny, rap video , the left hand seems to do most of the movement.
In the horrific video/ still showing hostage Mr Foley, the large knife is held in the left hand, yet it would be more natural, i would think, if the perp was standing to the right of the victim, as opposed to the left, to complete the hideous deed, imo fwiw..
In the video of 5 poi at the airport, the person on the far right holds his water bottle in the left hand.....?????? but he is identified as someone else.
Maybe he is ambidextrous, the long imo, arms seem all akimbo, like someone who would be clumsy at sports, but good at dancing or playing drums, if that makes any sense..
imo.

Some people only use the left hand for " dirty" business and keep the right hand "clean" for eating - maybe he uses the left hand only for killing ie holding the knife and the awkward holding of the gun in left hand??

Little Jedi, do not know much about guns at all, but in this video, demonstrator says he uses his weaker left hand to hold gun, which is hand poi is holding his with, but thinking the gun poi is holding is upside down?

As a Muslim, I find that there are too many things wrong with this whole ISIS thing.

Third, I've seen pictures of these crazies holding decapitated heads (which, the article stated, were most likely killed in battle and then decapitated to cause "fear" in any potential enemy by thinking that's what ISIS does), so if they're so proud of their handiwork, WHY is Foley's killer masked??? Would he not be proud to do such a deed in their skewed version of Islam/reality??

Last, where in the WORLD did this group in the Middle East happen open clean, bright orange USA Prison style jumpsuits??

James Foley was held in a cell with 18 other captives, who supported one another and invented distractions like trivia, checkers and Risk to keep up their spirits, according to a letter released by his family on Sunday.

The letter was posted on the Facebook page Free James Foley shortly after a Sunday Mass in his honour at a church in his hometown of Rochester, New Hampshire.
