There were consequences. A few weeks after she returned, Melissa got jumped by a group of women with one man nearby. A witness heard the man say something like: “This is what you get for disrespecting me.” He later identified that man as John Terry—Blaze—from a photo the police showed him."

Yes but some of these girls said they are following me, even Jugo who is attached to no killer really. I feel there are more girls who know who 'they' are but are afraid to say

I wonder if Melissa described a car or individual she thought was following her?

Some might say the answer to that is no. Personally. I dont believe that.
 
Melissa believed she was being followed. I wonder where that took place? Bronx, Manhattan, or Long Island.
 
Anyone this MB may have been held captive before she was murdered? With 7 phone calls that almost seem to be escalating, I thought they stopped at call 7 when LISK told Amanda, he killed her sister.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I thought I saw in an interview with MB's mom that he stopped calling when she got on the phone
 
I'm not sure if LISK spoke to MB's mom, but the phone calls the sister is one of the facets of the case that interests me most. How would LISK know she is a "half breed." How many craigslist prostitutes get into details about there family? It leads me to believe LISK could be a regular customer, held her captive, or was somebody that knew her. And I don't think LISK could have picked up facets about the sister from stalking.

I think I read somewhere that he stopped calling when they put it on the news. But the fact that he would even do that speaks volumes about the monster.

I never thought of that possibility, but it would be unusual to have photos labelled on a phone, especially one from 7 years ago. It still seems like something picked up in conversation IMO.
 
Got this online. I think the photos are a very good point. Of course she may have had a Facebook account, MySpace or Bebo so might her Sister. Through this information he could nearly get everything he wanted. She could have anything on the phone, a password email address on a message.

She worked for an escort agency called James Bond Entertainment under the pseudonym Chloe. On the night she disappeared, she had lined up a date to the tune of $1,000.

Earlier that evening, Mel told her boyfriend that she might be going to Long Island, a frequent haunt of hers. She regularly hung out there with a girlfriend who also worked as an online escort, as well as at the home of a regular client. Her boyfriend said he would oftentimes pick her up from the john's house.
"She would go to Long Island a lot," said her boyfriend Johnny. "She had some older man she was chummy with."

Sounds like the killer must live and kill in Long Island.

Meanwhile, Barthelemy's sister, Amanda, began to receive calls, about one each week.

The caller ID indicated the call came from Melissa's cellphone. The man who sounded like an "older white guy" wanted to know if the person on the line was Melissa's little sister. "The whole year I continued to pay for the phone bill," Melissa's mother, Lynn. "It was only turned on when the guy would turn it on, when he made the phone calls. He would only keep it on for three minutes."

The police traced the calls to cellular towers in Times Square and Madison Square Garden, but got nowhere. Lynn said they received five more calls, the last one on August 26, 2009. "The last call, he said he killed her," then hung up. Investigators also discovered that a call made to Barthelemy's voicemail the day she vanished came from Massapequa, a Long Island town about 20 miles from where her body was later discovered.

I think he lives between Massapequa and Glen Cove. Also he may have gained information from her Voicemails. Numbers left and boyfriend's name ways they were trying to find her.

Other numbers were traced to throwaway phones purchased in Manhattan. One of the phones was linked to the name Mickey Mouse.

Around the same time, Terry said he began to get his own taunting phone calls. His calls were from a "white guy," he said.
"He was threatening me," recalled Terry. "He said, you like to do some crazy stuff with Melissa, I know where you be at. Most of the time he seemed to be drunk. He knew who I was. He knew I had tattoos on my back. Maybe he felt [Melissa] was doing something he didn't like."

Terry said the anonymous caller called him more than 30 times over a period of eight months. He said he reported the calls to the cops. Months later, Terry said, he was approached by the police again, but this time not as a suspect. They wanted to know about the john on Long Island. They asked if he could describe the house and if he could pick it out if he was taken there. He said he could.

"They already knew about the guy in Long Island," he said. "I said if they come to get me I would go. They didn't come."

Yup I am very aware that the boyfriend was blown off by police but still is that any kind of viable excuse to still be wondering who this John is????
