"So excited to have a new reconstruction portrait for Reservation Road Jane Doe 1981, who may have died as early as 1966."

Ann Miller looks a bit like the recently created reconstruction:
I just read about her case on the Charley Project and...just, wow so much to unpack.

Ann was last seen with her 2 friends speaking to a man operating a boat on the Lake Michigan shoreline who resembled Ralph Largo. Largo, who was also at the beach that day, had an aunt and uncle who performed illegal abortions. There's a theory all 3 women boarded a larger boat with him to get abortions for Ann and her friend Patricia. But then both women died during the procedures and all 3 were dumped into Lake Michigan.

I think it's more likely Ann's remains are in that lake

I think the resemblance is incredible. The only thing I question is is Carol Ashkenazi? I would never told it by her name, she very British-American last name (and also firdt name), whereas this Jane Doe is fully Ashkenazi. This year, the DDP identified Ada Kaplan, who was also fully Ashkenazi, unfortunately she was never reported missing

This reconstruction looked so familiar to me, and this is exactly where I knew her face from. This seems possible! Side-by-side for easier comparison.

The more I look, this also seems like a really possible match. Very close resemblance.

Both women have one detail off in completely different areas. The PMI is off in Carol's case, while the distance is further in Marcia's.

There are a few girls of Ashkenazi descent from other parts of the U.S. who disappeared around the same time. For example, Audrey Lyn Nerenberg disappeared from New York in 1977. I don't think it's her because of the distance and because there's a suspect in her case. However, when I was searching for an Ashkenazi man who could be the John Doe found in Maine, I came across Philip Kahn, who disappeared from Nevada. I initially ruled him out due to the geographical distance, but it turned out to be him. So, considering that young people often hitchhiked in the 1970-1980s, our Jane Doe could indeed be from anywhere

I found another probably Ashkenazi girl who dissapeared from a camping site in Oregon in 1979. Irin Marie Meyer (Irin is a jewish name, Meyer is an Ashkenazi family name)

Meyer is also German. Her second name was Maria, so id vote for German over Ashkenazi. Irin is not Jewish, I guess it is either Erin or a derivative of Irene or Irina. But names mean little, i have not seen her family tree

Something about the teeth and eye area are very similar. But i do not know how many facts the recon is based on. I know Carl hardly guesses, if there are skull parts missing, he does not show the full face or adds a note he based the recon loosely on the remains

Many Jewish people changed their last names to something "more American" when the immigrated. Especially those from war torn countries. Many changed their surnames to flee from Europe during WWII. Her parents could have done this as well. Random thoughts.

That is true, too. Yet, not all did and normally just a quick peek a few generations up the family tree is sufficient to be able to tell fully Ashkenazi descent.

She could also have been adopted. Lots of possible complexities! I hope she's identified soon.

Oh thank you, I thought Irin could be a Jewish name (it has a meaning in hebrew), but I am not a specialist, thank you for clarifying. I have also found a couple of missing girls with the last name Miller, but I think the same as Meyer, it can be both German and Ashkenazi. I honestly think it is none of these girls and I suspect her missing person’s report was lost or something like this.

The teeth of the recon look like she had enamel defects, maybe hyperfluoridation. But not sure how intact the cranium was, i guess the teeth were there, otherwise Carl would not have made such a detailed recon.
Yes, her two upper right front teeth had missing enamel on the surface. It may have been a postmortem defect, but they looked smooth, so I depicted them as they were.
