Hope you feel better SD.

I've got one that might make you smile. I've just gotten a super duper virus protection package thingy, and when I got JB's Law Firm page up, a warning came up that it was an unsafe website

:great:

lol.. wouldnt matter anyway.. nuttin on his websites works right anyway..lol..
links dont work.. nuttin.. seems he got the bargain basement web site too lol

I learned just how alone Caylee was in death...left in the dark, in the rain, you name it. I mean, I knew it, but that story put another, deeper ache in my heart about Caylee's death. Thankfully, she's not alone in heaven. And she's definitely not alone in the courtroom. GOD BLESS THE SA!!!!! I really have such a deep love and appreciation for all that they are doing for Caylee. They are truly warriors and heros for Caylee!!!! I really wish there was a way to really thank them after this trial is over.

I also learned just how evil and soulless Casey really is. I knew it from day one, but today...wow. This is one of those times I really really REALLY wish I wasn't right. I have never wanted a person to get the DP more in my life than Casey.

Finally, I learned that I hope Casey is left alone in the rain and the dark after she dies! Casey deserves a death far worse than Caylee's was. Caylee deserved SO MUCH BETTER!!!! Poor sweet baby!!!! My heart just broke again and again for Caylee today...

Today I learned that the REAL undercover agent of the state is JB on the DT, and that JA is loving it!

Funny you should say that....I have a theory that CM is actually a double agent. I think he was planted by the state to let JB use his limited legal expertise to take down ICA. Why? CM is a respected reputable attorney in the Central FL area. Prior to this trial, CM was in the news quite a bit due to his successful legal career. But, CM's performance has really been disappointing. Uncharacteristically bad. He has not been as quick, clever and prepared as he usually is. Nobody of his caliber fumbles while litigating as much as he has throughout this trial. I think it's all planned....CM is really working for the state...I just know it!

I also think that CM knows that ICA is guilty and knows that JB is going to escort ICA right down to a prison cell for the rest of her life.

I'm just sayin'

I learned how crazy, out of control this case has become thanks to JB and ICA. I was gutted by GA's testimony and then shocked at the rambling, hand waving, peeved whenever there was a side bar, theatrical grief doctor.

Oh and I also learned that JB has issues with dogs.

Jose had $275,000 to be used in KCs defense. $200,000 that was made by selling photos of Caylee, so it was blood money IMO. What exactly has Jose spent all of that money on? Apparently not on depositions, expert witnesses or anything else that would help the defense. Sorry but I don't believe that the reason Jose has "sub par" expert witnesses is because of a lack of money. I believe that Jose has "sub par" witnesses because a good or decent expert would not touch this case with a ten foot pole after seeing the evidence against KC.

MOO

He's spent some of that money on magical sweater wraps for his client

I saw this on the Daily Beast today. It may not be obvious, but I made some notes on it.

I also learned that we grieve before we experience loss. I mean, if we're to believe Dr. Sally, the magical thinking and risk-taking behaviors exhibited by ICA before the death of Caylee are indicative of grief.

Furthermore, I learned I really need to take advantage of the "comfort breaks" and sidebars. I may or may not have accidentally wet myself a little.

Bill Clinton the father??? :floorlaugh: Well, I better restrain myself and just leave this alone.

This.

I mean I've watched her sit with a stone face and I've watched her fake cry and I've watched her genuinely cry when she was angry. And at times I was chilled by something she said on the tapes, or by a look on her face in an emotional moment.

However watching George Anthony - a man I don't like, a man I feel at the very least is a codependent enabler of epic proportions - break down and sob... I sat at my computer at work and cried with him. Not only cried with him because he was so clearly heartbroken, but also imagining my own family, my own father, my daughter, the love I feel for them, Caylee, the love I would have felt for her if I had ever known her - all of those things made me ache inside and I couldn't not cry.

Even if you've never lost a child, my guess is most parents imagine what they would feel if... and I have imagined after nightmares and close calls ... and I would want to die, too, as George wanted to. And yet I hope I would cling to life enough to call every single person in my cell phone - even Jose Baez were his number there - and tell them I wanted to die with my loved one so I could be saved to remain for the other loved ones I cherish.

While this was happening in court, I was watching KC glare, stare, shake her head in disgust, eventually smile and laugh and flirt with the man who just mocked her father's thoughts of grief and death, who laughed at her father for being so grief stricken to include JB on the list of people he called and texted and reached out to in his suicidal grief... she winked at JB for mocking him, she reached out her hand just to be closer to the man who mocked and derided her father for his grief over the murder of her daughter.

I was so horrified, even KNOWING she is a sociopath or psychopath or whatever. I KNOW this, and watching it still froze me so that I couldn't believe what I was seeing. I still can't get it into my mind that this is a possible expression of humanity, what we see in ICA.

I've known one sociopath in my life and he was (as far as I know) non-violent. Just a chronic liar, manipulator and not even very good at hiding his mirroring of whoever he was interacting with. And so sometimes I fool myself that I "get" what it's about.

Watching ICA today? I don't know jack s*** about sociopaths. I don't want to know. I'm scared of her, scared of her existence on this earth, felt today that people who are like her create a mutual exclusion scenario in which we both can't inhabit the same planet at the same time. In a purely survival, animalistic sense I understand the impulse to impose death on these individuals when they show themselves for who they are.

I can't think of a single funny thing to write, even though IMO the last witness was a complete scream who has about a million funny quotes and moments... still, I was left thinking that the association with ICA's case will ruin this poor woman's life as well, in some way, given time. It's beyond real explanation to me.

Nice expression of how I think a lot of us felt today, thank you!

While I watched George Anthony today, a man whom I never like nor disliked (can't say the same about his wife), I felt bonded with him. Bonded because when I lost my dad, my face changed, my identity changed, my motivation changed... I know what it feels like to truly love someone and grieve the loss of their presence in your life. To be mad at God or karma or fate (or whatever you believe in) taking a love in your life before you're ready. Today, I saw someone who shared that struggle and had it compounded beyond belief by the knowledge that someone else he loved deeply, his own daughter, murdered his beloved granddaughter. She murdered his sunshine and one of his primary joys in living.

Sadly, sometimes we love those that can destroy us imo. I think George knows this about Casey now; she's toxic and he can smell it as clear as decomp, imo. I hope he knows he doesn't have to wait for another betrayal or tragedy to remove himself from other situations and/or people that may not be healthy for him. He seems a man on the brink; at a cross-roads. I hope he knows he can stop, look around, and make choices he couldn't have made as freely when he had two children to raise. If he's where he should be and he and his family are equally devoted to each other's well being, that's great. However, if he's not valued and cared for as all people deserve to be, I hope he takes the One Trick Pony Paul Simon's advice (for some reason, this song kept playing in my mind after George testified today):

Slip out the back, Jack
Make a new plan, Stan
You don't need to be coy, Roy
Just listen to me

Hop on the bus, Gus
You don't need to discuss much
Just drop off the key, Lee
And get yourself free

Again, if he is supported and his heart nurtured by those currently in his life, that's great. But, if he's suppressed and controlled and unable to grieve and heal like he clearly needs to, who could blame the man for pulling a runner? Not I... This man needs to do whatever it takes to find peace.... Not sure that's gonna happen at Hope Spring Drive... JMO...

I did some digging and found the book the grief expert was talking about (children and terrorism etc.) and it wasn't published by the Parents magazine, it was published by the Child magazine. It makes no difference since neither of them are peer reviewed but it got me wondering if she has some memory issues and if yes, could she follow DS's long and complex hypothetical? (I had trouble following it anyway...)

But the jury heard the long innocent amazing young mothers hypothetical loud and clear. Then they heard Ashton's which was clear and solid. Would love to know about juror note-taking during these two exchanges.

I suspect that the reason these experts don't seem very good is that Baez did not give them the facts of the case. He's probably well aware that if they knew the facts, they would come to very different conclusions than they did come to. So they come in and get blindsided when the prosecution brings up all the things they didn't know before, and all of them (iirc) have admitted that, taking into consideration the additional facts given, their opinion was altered to a greater or lesser degree. So then, they look like they're sub-par. I bet they're all furious with Baez.

I don't even think he realizes what has been provided by disclosure. There was one time I don't think af had every thing she was arguing about.

I have learned to be SO MUCH MORE grateful for my family, esp my children & the love for each other that we share ~ dysfunction and all ~ no matter what.

ICA scared the beejebus outta me with her looks at her Father yesterday. And to cheer-on, smile and wink at the man that berated and made light of her OWN FATHER's SUICIDE because SHE murdered her own child.... For the 1st time in my life I have truly seen Evil.

I'm glad that GA told (most of) the truth. ICA deserved every second of that. l'll say prayers for him for along time to come.

And seems that Baez is not paying them, remember the witness on the stand that told JB that he had not paid him and JB said the check is in the mail?

And out of that money Baez had to settle for a paltry $89,000 paid to himself. Poor guy working for peanuts. ;)

Oh My Donjeta, how poignant. this post stopped me dead in my tracks. I think this would be a great statement for the SA to use in their closing argument. Wow, just Wow. Thanks.

Yes, yes it would be great!!!!

P.S. Go Navy! From one Navy mom to another :woohoo:

I learned what noise maggots make. I so did not want to know.

Hi everyone, first time posting, long time reading. I think JB proved today that he is purposely trying to throw this trial so that when ICA gets convicted she will be able to get an appeal based on ineffective defense. My question is if she does win an appeal does she have to keep the same lawyers or can she start over with new ones?

:welcome4:

wow:floorlaugh:now that was funny! The sad thing is, that if jb read your post, he might be tempted to do just that!

Even if she could understand dogs what good would it do to put them on the stand?

Q: What did you smell that day?

A: I wanna biscuit

Q: I asked you what you smelled that day!

A: I wanna biscuit

Q: What did you smell?!

A: You need a bath

etc.

I learned that if someone firmly denies being a molester, they must be a molester, because who'd admit being a molester? (If Baez had any evidence of it, he wouldn't need a confession or a denial to claim both equally support the defense team's "magical thinking").

I also learned that Casey and Baez overestimated their ability to predict/manipulate the Anthony family members and their loyalty to Casey. They are all like boxes of chocolates; you never know what you're gonna get when they take the stand. Shameful lies, painful truths, meltdowns, defiance... A defense theory built around wild cards is risky as hell and this is a losing hand for Baez and company... Based on how things are going, I think Mason had the right idea when he reminded the judge a few weeks back that the defense was not required to present a case. Probably would have been better to fold after the state rested. JMO...

BBM

Yes or no, have you stopped beating your wife. Same kinda thing.

I learned the Anthony family lost a lot of pets :(

Caylee I am so sorry!
