Can you help us find Patricia Lunn who has been reported missing?

The 58-year-old was last seen on Saturday morning (October 29) near St Andrew’s Church, in Aycliffe Village.

She was due to go on a coach trip to Scarborough for the day but didn’t board the coach and has not been seen or heard from since.

Patricia is 5ft 3inches tall with short, dyed blonde hair. She was last seen wearing a blue coat with black trousers.

Anyone who has seen Patricia should call Durham Constabulary on 101, quoting incident number 297 of November 2.

Of course we don't know if she went all the way to Peterlee or got off at an earlier stop, but if they know she got on the bus I imagine LE probably also knows where she got off (hopefully). If I'm looking at the map correctly, Peterlee is not close by IF she went all the way there.

I could be way off on the location (sorry, just noticed "County Durham" and thought it might be the same area) but looking at Coach tours to Scarborough I found this Durham - Scarborough one on October 29 and wondered if that could be the one she had been supposed to take?

Ugh where can she be? I hope that Patrica is safe and well and pray that she returns home soon.

Family stress just how out of character it is for Patricia not to go on this coach trip, she had been looking forward to it for weeks.
I think for Patricia not to be on the coach and no one has heard from her since to Wednesday when reported missing is quite some time. We have some new information and Patricia being in Bernard Castle on Sat evening which from family Members is from Patricias phone activity.

We are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of Patricia Lunn who has been missing for six days.

The 58-year-old, who is known as Trish, was due to go on a coach trip to Scarborough from Newton Aycliffe on Saturday morning (October 29) but did not board the coach.

She has not been seen or heard from since.

Police enquires have since found she travelled to the Barnard Castle area on the Saturday evening. Officers are concentrating their searches around this area and along the A67 towards Darlington.

Patricia is 5ft 3inches tall with short, dyed blonde hair. She was last seen wearing a blue coat with black trousers.

The route is here.

Surely, if the bus has CCTV they could trace where she alighted?

But if spotted in Barnard Castle same night, did she take X21 to Darlington and then change there? And if so, why, when she was meant to be going to Scarborough?

Oh I hate to hear that. "Confused" for a few weeks along with the other comments that it's been chilly and wet makes me even more oh so worried for her. Poor lady, I hope someone will be able to provide info to help get her back home.

Police searching for a missing County Durham woman that disappeared a week ago has renewed their appeal in the hope of finding the 58-year-old.

Specialist officers from Durham Police are growing 'increasingly concerned' for the welfare of Patricia Lunn - who was last seen last Saturday (October 29).

This morning the team were out on standby by Durham Constabulary and then called out to search near Gainford for a high risk missing person, Patricia Lunn. 14 Team members and 3 of the team’s Mountain Rescue Search Dogs England searched various locations of interest until nightfall unfortunately without success.

Please report any sightings to Durham Constabulary.

Oh where are you Patricia? I hope every day to open this thread for happy news, and there is none. BUT no final news either, so hope springs eternal that she will be found.

Durham Constabulary have issued new CCTV footage which shows Patricia at The Witham Community Arts Centre in Barnard Castle after attending a show there on the evening of Saturday, October 29. She is seen leaving the rear of the community hub, in Horsemarket, at around 9.45pm and walking across Morrison’s carpark.

She stops and lights a cigarette and is carrying a bag - wonder what was in it? It looks like this might have been the production she attended at The Witham on October 29:

Bumping for any updates.

Bumping for any updates.

As of this Monday's latest posts on the local Anything Aycliffe FB as mentioned above, by family member, still nothing.

Seems odd that she voided going to Scarborough to go to the theatre in Barnard Castle - then vanished. That was a long time ago now, and unless she has plenty of cash on her for food - sure police would have obtained her banking records by now - I don't see how she can be surviving.

Cleveland Police are reporting that a woman’s body was recovered from the River Tees yesterday morning around 10:15am (Wednesday 16th November). The woman's family have been informed but no formal identification has been made.

Cleveland Police Facebook page

It has been reported elsewhere that the body was found in Stockton. I guess there is a small chance that the body could be that of Trish, as she was last seen in Barnard Castle which is on the River Tees, although the distance between the two towns via the river is around 40 miles. It is sad news whether it is Trish or not.

Has there still not been any confirmation about whether body was PL? There seem to have been no more updates over last 6 or 7 days either way.
