I know it's crazy but finding it hard now to shake that NB doesn't wear a ponytail in any social media and that the outer gilet in CCTV doesn't match those she wears elsewhere...

Here is a picture of her with a ponytail, I think taken from Facebook?

Still more likely an abduction that a fatal accident IMO.

I keep coming back to the lack of independent witnesses between 9:10 and the arrival of the police.

I wonder if the police have witnesses who saw nothing - they were beside the river around that time but didn’t see the dog. It’s quite possible, and it doesn’t make or break any theories, but I’d be surprised if no one else walked along that wall between 9:10 and ~10am.

Does no one else find it a bit strange?

People on here talk (and the police) seem to think the 9:10-9:20am period is crucial - but surely the period is longer than that? People seem to be dismissing other possibilities because of there only being 10mins for a would-be abductor to abduct her.

Emma looks EXACTLY like the person in the CCTV..

I think we need more of a definite answer as to whether NB could have been swept out to sea or not; provided she did in fact fall into the river close to where her mobile phone was found. And if at all possible, what are the chances of this actually happening.

One news report has Peter Faulding stating it's 'impossible, literally', where another has him stating NB 'could have been swept out to sea by now'. View attachment 401153

Further to this statement

A photo of the weir at St Michael’s. Not as large as l expected it to be, but it appears to be in scale with the river at this point. I can’t imagine NB going up and over it if drowned bodies do indeed sink. Wouldn’t she be ‘trapped’ in the area before the actual ’drop’ into the lower level?

After 7 days or so bodies resurface, usually face down, half submerged.

This article has the strangest photo. The woman looks just like Nicola. Same hair, clothes etc. Are they doing a reconstruction or is this mere coincidence?

It says to me that she is dressing differently than for usual dog walks. Indicates she is possibly expecting to meet someone related to her work. I really think this

IMO there is no coincidence that the man with the sonar has been pulled off the river. JMO but it seems possible he was part of the reason for the tourist problems.

So I would say recovery is about to take place.

Only my opinion it could be totally wrong lets just say gut instinct and I forecast this at 3am this morning so may have been a little tired.

I can see what you’re saying but as a poster said before the daughters would have confirmed who took them to school that day. IMO.

Is there any information about what was recovered from the Skippool Creek Car Park last week?
Is it possible that her body went over the weir and in the resulting white water that items were removed from her body and then ended up in the banks of the river downstream, possibly due to being able to travel at different rates etc.
Another passer-by or animal (dog) may have recovered said item(s) and they were then left by an owner/member of the public in the car-park thinking if the item was lost that it is a sensible place to return and search for dropped item??

I wonder if they bought the partner down because they may have found something significant? And that’s why the police divers are now going in?

That would be distressing. Police would be more likely to try their hardest to keep the family away under such circumstances.

Not sure.
Press Association reporter said that Paul spent an hour in Faulding's mobile unit ( It's the red vehicle with ' Incident Support' on the side of it) Paul might have just come down of his own accord or by arrangement with Faulding. Poor guy.

ETA:
NB's close friend Emma also there ( we know she's been helping to get the appeals out there so far. Be great if she does any interviews today and she publicises LancsPolice current search for dash cam from the 700 vehicles - that could speed things up & assist LE)
