GUILTY AR - Gregory McWhorter for child rapes, Fayetteville, 2012

In Frisco, TX and Mesa, AZ, doctors comes up with this same name. Not sure who it is but that's a big coincidence. Different middle names so possibly relatives?? The guy in Frisco is 51. The guy in Mesa is 52. Too young to be this guy's father.

McWhorter's house does not look to be wheelchair accessible....not that a mobility issue would really change a thing.

Looks like he's also used the alias, Gregory or Greg M. Truitt. Very very odd but this name comes up in each of the cities listed above--sometimes the same age and with some of the same relatives and other times a bit different age.

A very creepy guy to sleuth. I'm not quite sure what I'm finding.

Sometimes they really are. Truitt, hmmm. What is his DOB? McWhorter?

Looks like he is a friend of Pat Brown, whose a friend of mine....hard to tell from the picture if he's the same one. Hahaha, he's friends with all my friends - Klaas, Lisa Bloom - wow, hope it's not the same guy!

So strange. Just to confuse matters all the more, a Greg Truitt comes up in Allen, TX--a few miles from The Colony and Frisco. He was a firefighter and EMT. Same age, same past towns.

One pic on his MySpace page is just a tv with the screen showing a movie(?) title -- Double Bogey. No way that's a coincidence.

--the pic is titled "my new 32 inch tv".

--on screen is a golf course, w/ the caption "double bogey"

-- 'double bogey' means the shot was made 2 strokes over par.

Yes, I know. But I don't think it's a coincidence or accident that "Double Bogey" was showing on the screen when that picture was shot.

His brother is a level 3 sex offender registered as living in Prairie Grove, AR. Also, according to his brother's MS page, he (the brother) is a truck driver.

A number of family members do seem to get around.

It seems to me there was legislation being proposed that sex offenders would not be allowed to have or renew a CDL..... need to check that, but I seem to recall reading this when I was researching the 1-45 corridor murders. Anyone?

PHB--I'm not at all certain that the EMT is the same guy. There simply are far too many crossovers and coincidences here, though. I don't envy LE in investigating this monster.

Unfortunatley, the Allen, TX VFD doesn't have its roster online.
According to TX DOH website, this Greg Truitt's middle name is "Allen", so hopefully it's not the same guy. I certaintly hope not, at least, because this guy has his instructor's certification, so he probably spends time with the junior members of the department.

You're probably correct as McWhorter seems to use the middle name, Michael, wherever he goes.

Not ALL of the neighbors are supporting him.
. . . she says she wasn't surprised to hear McWhorter had been arrested, accused of sexually assaulting a six-year-old child.

"It's always been a weird little house down there, it's kind of like an outlier. There's lots of people there all the time, lots of people in and out."
. . . There are lots of kids over there all the time, lots of kids,"

Not surprising but so so sad. Just babies. My guess is that these children did not actually "come forward". I imagine they might have been taken into state custody as they were somehow related to McWhorter or living in the home. Possibly they disclosed to a therapist or a foster parent. My hope is that they get lots of support.

Fayetteville "Boogie Man" Linked to Additional Sexual Assaults
March 20, 2012

"The man Fayetteville police say referred to himself as the "Boogie Man" to scare children now faces additional sexual assault charges. According to investigators, Gregory McWhorter has been charged with four new counts of second-degree sexual assault after two three-year-olds came forward. Both children claim McWhorter touched them inappropriately...."

I've been following his case with great interest. He's had more than six children. Many of them have been removed by the state and are in foster care or adopted. Having read the file on some of the kids, I was excited to know he was going to spend life in prison having his crimes revisited upon him.
