Same thing happened to Karlie Pearce-Stevenson it makes me wonder if there’s something in the South Australian water? My question is how many others are doing this?

Superintendent Bray said the police's focus would now turn to another man and woman who allegedly stole $136,000 from Mr Meffert's bank account after his death by withdrawing fortnightly disability payments from a Peterborough ATM.

They were interviewed by police today but not charged.

‘A South Australian man has admitted to the cold case murder of Martin Meffert, whose partial skeletal remains were found in a bag in a fireplace in the state's mid-north.

The 30-year-old, who can't be identified because he was a child at the time of the alleged crime, faced Port Augusta Magistrates Court today and entered his guilty plea.’

‘His [Martin’s] killer will next appear in the South Australian Supreme Court in October.’
