The Homicide Squad is investigating whether a man found dead near a cemetery in Melbourne's north-west today was dumped there.

The victim in his 20s had significant head wounds and was found without a shirt, sitting up against a tree just off the road.

Blood and the DNA of a man who police allege was fatally bashed was found inside a Bandidos clubhouse, a court has heard.

John Peter Walker, 33, on Wednesday pleaded not guilty to a charge of murder over the death of Michael Strike, whose body was discovered near Keilor Cemetery on May 25 last year. Magistrate Donna Bakos found there was sufficient evidence to commit Mr Walker to stand trial.

Luke Paul Maybus, 28, is also charged with murder and is due to return to Melbourne Magistrates Court on Thursday, along with Joseph Girgis, 41, who is charged with being an accessory to murder.

Two Bandidos bikies who fatally bashed a stranger after he was dragged into a Melbourne clubhouse have been jailed.

Luke Paul Maybus and John Peter Walker were handed 10 and eight year jail terms, respectively, on Friday after pleading guilty to the manslaughter of Michael Strike whose bloodied body was found opposite Keilor Cemetery in May 2014.
