Not found. DOB 7/6/54). [After estate is liquidated by 6/6/25 Lydia will be declared deceased]. Riverside County

5/27/22: Crisara Abrams is the sole trustee of the Clem Abrams Trust. Keith Harper has been removed (11/15/23) as co-Trustee.

11/7/24 Update: Remote hearing held in Palm Springs probate court. Harper not present due to undergoing surgery on 11/6/24. Harper's attorney has filed a substitution of attorney notice. New attorney is not yet named. The hearing was continued to 12/5/24. Judge encourages parties to reach a settlement on KH trustee fees, loans, etc. Trustee tells the court that all assets at Bonita Vista Ranch have been inventoried. Trustee will list the ranch for sale shortly, and expects to have the estate liquidated by June 6, 2025 (when DA will be declared deceased).
12/5/24 Update: Hearing continued to 2/11/25. Judge notes Harper's medical issues. Judge indicates tentative ruling is to deny Harper’s accounting motion seeking money; and to grant Invenz objection/motion, in part.

No rulings issued in hearing today. KH gets new attorney: Aaron Garcia of Rancho Mirage. Judge sets trial date for all matters for the weeks of Sept 22 and Sept 29. Parties will appear in person for the trial, but no ruling on whether the trial will be available to the public on zoom. Invenz reports it had to spend $50K on a water main break and gas line leak on the BV Ranch, he expects to list the ranch for sale in a few weeks. A buyer is already interested in the property.

I come here often looking for news but it seems that no justice will ever be delivered. Sad and beyond sad. To think that a crime of this type could not be solved with today's technology is hard to believe. I can only hope that some day Dia is back in the news and all who harmed her pay for their crimes!

Sadly there are too many crimes like the one against Dia, that go unsolved for years, sometimes they are never solved. Even with today's technology murderers escape justice.

There is a motions hearing on 7/7/25 to relieve counsel. And trial for weeks of 9/22 & 9/29/25.

The case has drawn significant public attention, especially in the Idyllwild and Mountain Center communities, and has been the focus of ongoing coverage by CBS 8, which has highlighted the family’s search for answers and the ongoing reward offer for information leading to Abrams’ whereabouts or the arrest and conviction of those responsible for her disappearance.

It’s unclear why the estate trustee filed the most recent petition in Murrieta. A hearing was held on June 18 in Murrieta and the judge transferred the petition back to Palm Springs. The petition will now be heard on Monday, July 7 at 8:30 a.m. in Department PS3 in Palm Springs probate court.
