Longtime Cupertino resident William “Bill” Miller is missing, according to the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office.

Miller, 81, was last seen by his neighbors on Oct. 5. According to the sheriff’s office, Miller lives alone on Clifford Drive.

On Oct. 12 a longtime friend and neighbor of Miller’s contacted the sheriff’s office West Valley division to report Miller missing. The neighbor told deputies that Miller’s mail and newspapers were piling up at the residence, and Miller had not been seen around the residence in a few days.

According to the sheriff’s offices, deputies searched Miller’s home and did not find any clues as to Miller’s whereabouts.

Miller is described as a Caucasian man, standing at 5 feet, 9 inches tall and weighing nearly 160 pounds. He is balding with some gray hair and has hazel eyes.

Since Miller’s disappearance, the sheriff’s office has canvassed several areas, contacted local hospitals and alerted law enforcement agencies throughout the state about his disappearance.
