MOO, awfully young and thin for gallbladder removal. Would put him more toward the 40 end than the 20 end.

He had a recognizable face but there's no drawing, artists rendering or photo which seems odd.

Height 5' 11"(71 inches) and Weight124 lbs is dang near skeletal. I wonder how recently he had the gallbladder removal. It can be caused by alcoholism but not always. If this man was homeless, that could be a common assumption.

There are a number of reasons you need gallbladder removal at a young age. I was only 45 and unbeknownst to me at the time, I was carrying Multiple Myeloma without any symptoms. I wasn't diagnosed until I was 55.

Doctors aren’t sure exactly what causes gallstones, but they might happen when:
  • There’s too much cholesterol in your bile. Your body needs bile for digestion. It usually dissolves cholesterol. But when it can’t do that, the extra cholesterol might form stones.
  • There’s too much bilirubin in your bile. Conditions like cirrhosis, infections, and blood disorders can cause your liver to make too much bilirubin.
  • Your gallbladder doesn’t empty all the way. This can make your bile very concentrated.

I knew a girl with sickle cell anemia growing up who needed her gallbladder out when she was in her teens. That's the only case I personally know of where someone that young needed their gallbladder removed.

The circumstances make it less likely IMO.

Comparison

I agree the circumstances make it less likely but not impossible.

Kelly Lewis (on left) was in Cape Canaveral, FL in late Nov 2015. He contacted family from Tallahassee, FL. Did LE find any evidence of a bus ticket from Cape Canaveral to Tallahassee? Did Kelly purchase a bus ticket to AL? Did Kelly plan to meet up with friends or family in AL? Did they notify the family that Kelly didn't show up?

Tallahassee to Miami Gardens is nearly 7 hours south east. That is 6-7 years before the UID (on right) was found in July 2022 in Miami Gardens, FL.

The dimple under Kelly's nose is very pronounced compared to the smooth space under the UID's nose. I'm not sure how much, if at all, that would change over the time line.

If Kelly's family has not heard from him since 2015, Kelly could have moved to SEFL and lived a different lifestyle his family was unaware of. Kelly is sunburned from wearing a higher neckline shirt.

If you are unfamiliar with Cape Canaveral and the beach area, there is a very popular LGBTQ welcoming beach and many businesses that are very welcoming.
Coincidentally, the South Beach area in Miami also has such an environment. It is not out of the realm of possibility that Kelly did relocate south, continue into a lifestyle of behaviors (identifying as gay, imbibing in drugs or alcohol or simply wanting to blend in with a larger population) he didn't want his family to know about.

It can never hurt to have UIDs compared to MP IM(very inexperienced)O there is a resemblance and height is the same. Both in Florida. Even rule outs can be helpful. The UID does look a bit biracial to me, which isn't the case with Kelly. But he also looks like he had a rough life. Deserves to have his name back.

That's interesting, can you say why? I don't see it but I'm always interested to learn.
His nose and there is something about his face. He reminds me of a relative of mine, but with lighter hair. Same complexion and similar facial features. Half AA and half Caucasian. From the top of the nose and up he looks just like MP. IMO

I don't "see" African American, neither Hispanic in the reconstruction of this UID. I "see" Caucasian. There can be a difference between your genetic "built up" and how you identify yourself of course. The UID might have identified himself as Caucasian.

Clothing description (on the body)

blue athletic shorts with a thick, black stripe on the sides of the shorts
white T- shirt
black athletic shorts

Did he wear two shorts or is it a mistake and the black athletic shorts are shoes? I think the last.

Who would write "the decedent was found deceased"?

I wonder if you would see it in me and a large portion of my family. Lol. Plenty of us had blonde/light brown hair and green or blue eyes and pale or tanned skin. I always assumed that everyone could tell. However, the UID likely identified as white as he does look white. But he looks different, I don't see Hispanic for some reason. Hopefully he gets identified and we can find out more because now I'm very curious. MOO

I'd be lying if I said that didn't make me do a little chuckle. It's pretty bad.

I feel like it's not uncommon at all to see folks who live on the street wearing multiple layers of the same clothing.

I agree, layers of clothing are quite common among the homeless, mostly when it's cold. If the black short is a short and not shoes, you would think he was walking barefoot. Possible. I don't know the time he was found but if it was during the day I'm not sure your feet could handle the heat of the pavement. It was July, so in my mind it's hot. I can be wrong of course. Or he was used to it and had a lot of calluses. Just rambling.

Eh, not really. I had mine removed when I was 17 and met several other teenagers with the same problem. It happens.
