Man who chopped off his girlfriend’s head jailed for 50 years

A man who admitted the brutal killing of his girlfriend, by chopping her head off, has been jailed for 50 years.

It has been reported that the man, Christopher Serna, from Florida, was found by the police around his girlfriend’s chopped head soon after the incident.

Effingham County Superior Court Judge F. Gates Peed sentenced Kimberly Moretz on Wednesday to 10 years in jail and five years of probation for hiding the death and dismemberment of Charlie Ray...

After deliberating three hours Friday, a jury found Moretz guilty of concealing the death of another and hindering apprehension or punishment of a criminal. She was found not guilty of tampering with evidence.
