"Murder of a professor in Greece.

Two properties are being discussed.

Are they the key?

'I had no motive to ask for his murder because he supported the family financially',
the woman said after her arrest.

According to Greek media reports,
Jeziorski provided child support of around €2,500 per month
and paid for the children's tuition.

However,
the issues they shared
were alleged to have arisen over their joint business
and the properties they owned.

An email reportedly sent by Nadia M. in April 2025,
three months before Jeziorski's murder,
which was brought to Protagon's attention,
indicates that
financial differences had not been resolved,
even though the divorce had been granted.

Protagon located two houses the couple had available for short-term rentals:
one in a good neighborhood in Berkeley, where the professor's university is located,
and the other in Durham, North Carolina.

Protagon reports that if both houses were to go on sale,
they could sell for as much as $2 million."

"At 4:09 PM, Professor Jeziorski called his wife and said he was waiting outside her house.

A minute later, he was dead.

The Professor's funeral will be held in Gdynia (Poland) on August 9th.

His children are not allowed to attend.

The murdered man's brother is fighting for custody.

Fragments of Interview with Przemysław's brother

Did your brother meet Nadia in the States?

'He was far from home.
He felt lonely.
He was looking for a kindred spirit to spend time with.
He created an account on a dating site,
and that's how they met.
They married in Santa Cruz.
My brother told us that his partner was having visa problems and wouldn't be able to legally reside in the United States, so they decided to quickly get married.
This was possible because my brother had a permanent resident card through his work at the university.
He later obtained American citizenship'.

What happened to the children after their mother was arrested?

'They are US citizens.
When a US citizen is killed, the FBI steps in ex officio.
I went to the embassy and asked them to look after the children during the arrest.
I was afraid their mother might harm them.
This prevented them from witnessing the arrest.
They were placed in a children's hospital ward with playgrounds.
I filed a motion for guardianship.
They will attend an international school in Gdynia.
I am awaiting the Greek authorities' decision on this matter.

My brother's ex-wife doesn't want to lose custody of the children.

She wants her mother to care for the children.
However,
this woman is 69 years old,
has a very low pension,
and despite living in Greece, she hasn't seen the children in six years.
The twins have American and Polish citizenship.
A home is waiting for them in Poland.
They are almost 11 years old.
They require psychological support, family care, love, and a change of environment.
Together with my family,
I am ready to provide them with this'.

Will the children be able to attend their dad's funeral?

The funeral is on August 9th in Gdynia. Unfortunately,
there's no legal way for us to take them to Poland'."

The whole very long story in the link:

How awful. I hope his family can get those kids settled in Poland with relatives.

I'll never understand people who do this to their children. Because that's who these sorts of acts punish the most.

Spoczywaj w pokoju, Profesorze.

Nadiya is dramatic. But to be honest, in Greece she was an under-achiever as well. She didn't work and lived off PJ’s money. I don’t know what was the biggest lure of Kristos. She could have been genuinely attracted to him but also, she didn’t have to compete with him in either career or achievements.

I believe she loved her children but there was so much toxic psychodrama around them that I fail to find the right word for it.

Well, as US and Polish citizens the children belong to either of these countries.

She seems to me
a cunning "femme fatale"
easily able to
"wrap guys around her little finger".

First,
a (naive???) professor with hasty marriage to ensure residency in the US - IMO!!!
(after meeting through a dating site, mind you).

And then,
much younger criminal macho to get rid of the ex.

One married her
and the other killed for her.

Oh well,
she's not the first or the last.

Controlling/influencing men to make them easily persuaded to do what she wants.
Using cliche "sex appeal" no doubt.

Of course,
I might be oversimplifying this situation a bit...

I don’t want to generalize, but the times have changed, dramatically. For a bright, talented, maybe slightly naive good guy from a good family it might not be so easy to find a woman at work or in his community willing to start a family and have kids. The marriage was rather fast - I think PJ wanted kids. And think of how much he did and spent, to just have a look at the children.

Ironically, for Kristos who is not the brightest bulb given how he organized the murder, Nadiya might have been attractive for the very same reason, “the loving mom” archetype. Especially if his own mother was not too loving.
